This BBQ was to be held in April but too many opening shows for spring didn't make it happen.

So June 24th is the date, which is on a Sunday as so many have off that day.

This meet is for all the M owners to come out and show support as we are a small crowd. The record to beat is 8 M's together. Other cars are welcome too (last year we had BMW, Audi, 350z, Sentra and others)

Date: June 24th
Place: Liberty State Park in Jersey City, NJ
Time: 10am

The park has big parking space, running water with full bathrooms (which is a great plus). It also has plenty of grass space and lots to see. Great place to take pics.

It is located on exit 14b of the New Jersey Turnpike
5 mins from the Holland Tunnel

We had a great time last year and I want it to be even greater this year. I hope all the guys that came last year will show up and at the same time I'm looking forward to meeting new faces.

Like last year everyone took something to the meet and all foods and drinks will be free.

If this was a saturday I'd consider it...BUT...like most other meets on this planet...it's a Sunday. Which I reserve for church.

It's done on Sunday because most have off from work.

ddiimmaa you can bring whatever you would like, just let me know so that I can add it to the list. The other members on the list will let me know next week.

Like last year we want to make sure that everyone eats as much as they want until we leave. If everyone chips in we should be cooking for about 4 to 5 hours.

Sounds great I will try to make it... Given some major changes In my home and family it may be difficult. Is this an all ages event? I'm assuming it would be ok to bring my 11 year old son? He would love it!

I am going to try to make it and get the day off from work, but you could count me in for now...

Okay time is getting near. Everything is looking good.

We even may be able to get a nice M turn out (15 or more would be great), I haven't kept a list of the other makes of cars but I'm sure they will be plenty.

If you have room bring a beach chair, don't forget the camera.

I would like to complete the list so that we can all know who is coming and what food they are bringing. I would like for all of us to be able to eat thru the entire time at the meet. I want you to be full by the end of the meet.

Also by completing the food list it allows me to see if I have to go out and buy even more foods & drinks. I'll be going shopping soon.

The M crowd is small but we'll have a great time!!!!!

For those that will be bringing drinks, please bring them cold in a cooler no ice to buy at the park. I'll be putting the drinks I buy in my home refrigerator the night before. This will allow the ice to last longer thru the day.

PS if you know someone with an M near you which might not be on any forums please bring them with you.

REALLY considering this....one of my dudes has a G....Might have to throw on the shoes for this event

Minus you can bring what-ever you would like.

My suggestion to all is to bring food that can be cooked on the grill, easy stuff that doesn't take a long time to cook (hamburgers & hot dogs with buns, sausages ect,)

I would like for everyone to eat the entire time at the BBQ.
