4th BBQ at Liberty State Park, NJ

So the date is September 27th which is Saturday. If it rains then we will move it to Sunday (september 28th)or following Saturday ( oct 4th) . Its up to us ( everyone who will attend bbq ) to decide rain date.

This BBQ is for all M owners but other cars are welcome as well. Last year we had 14 M's together. We are hoping to get more Ms this year. Many M owners are not on the forums, so if you see anyone drive by stop them and let them know about this BBQ.

Date: September 27th, Saturday
Time: 10 am
Location: Liberty State Park, NJ

Liberty State Park is located on exit 14b of the New Jersey Turnpike. We will be at the 2nd parking lot.

If you didnt hear about previous BBQ's here are the links to them

I might come down this year for my first ever meet (of any kind - never been to one). I can only hang out till like 2 or 3PM as I have to be back in Albany by 6 for a football game, lol. My car is not as nice as your guys' cars though...looking through the old threads and pictures. I have a few dents, front end needs a respray...*sigh*

Do you guys wear name tags or anything?

I think I'll come down...I'll bring soda and cups (let me know how many I should buy a day or so before once you get a more concrete number of guests). I'll hang out for a few hours and finally meet some of you in person...been part of NICO long enough and as a moderator it would probably be a good thing.

Sounds good. I heard that you are professional photographer. And we are going to need one to take really nice shots. So if you dont mind you can take your camera with you and be the official photographer of this BBQ. :D

I used to be a wedding photographer and only do it for fun these days...however...I sold my camera gear to buy my first 2013 Ninja 300 (wrecked) last fall, then another NInja 300 (sold) this spring, and finally it turned into my current 2013 Ninja ZX-6R lol (bday present in June).

If any of you has a DSLR, I can probably work with it and get some shots...otherwise I can use my LG G3 which has some sweet picture abilities...

I was thinking to get a bike. I really like Yamaha R6. It's 600cc so "not too much power" but a good bike to learn before getting something more powerful than that.

I have Canon T2I so i think you could take some good shots with it.

Some have sold, traded the M or are going back to stock.

Some are still working on the car.

For some reason forums have been very slow for sometime now. :frown:

Thinking about my bringing my boy he's 6. If not I'll leave him home. Never been to this park or any meet so I look forward to it.... Count me in for burgers, dogs, buns chips n sodas......

Your son will love the park.

Park is big with 2 bathrooms with running water in 2 different areas, it has 2 play grounds. Lots of open area to play ball.

He'll get to see the New York water front.

It was a 300 (FI), which is TOTALLY different beast than the 250 (which is carb'ed). It would hit 85 with ease...but after that fall on its face until it topped out (with my large arse on it) at 99. It was a great bike and I'm happy I learned on it. Part of the reason why I got it was to appease my mom, but after her passing in March, I got the 600 because I didn't have anyone telling me that bikes are the devil anymore...lol.
