I've been wondering. With the wide wheels to go with the wide cover over fenders in the rear, what happens to the original body fenders? They WILL be bumping the wide tires won't they?

The original quarter panels get cut out and the new ones are either molded on or riveted on. As for the front fenders they're just replaced with new fenders.

Yo guys, im just wonder if anyone had any tips on molding 50mm rear wide body fenders for an s14, as ive searched and searched and couldnt find much as i dont like the riveted look on an s14. I just pretty much wanna know wut material i should mold with that wont crack and what steps to take as it will be repainted. I heard use epoxy resin, dont use it, use body filler, dont use body filler, and i read use fiberglass matting. Any help or links or tips would be appreciated.

there is a writeup on another 240sx Forum where the guy was doing this to his car and from what i remember fiberglass and tiger hair is the best way to go to mold it becouse it still can flex.

nice user name. Radiohead rocks.

Are there any 180sx front fenders sold in the US that are wider than 20mm? I've got a set of 20mm version selects and they aren't wide enough.

The caption for the car in this edition is "Dai Inada, the Option equivalent of our Nadsy (except he can drive), loves the 180sx so much he decided to release his own special version. For a fairly low price, you can get the 180 with a Z33 front end, a G35 rear and a body kit to match."

There is no further information in the issue as to the availability. I could not find anything on Google except that one forum post of pictures.

For the record, I do not like the G35 tails or the Z33 front. I do however like the fender flares and would love to see someone not only find them, but implement them to a stock 240sx rear end somehow.
This car is Stream Z. There's company makes them and sell in Japan. There are 2 different versions, street and racing... It was kinda big in this year's Tokyo autoshow along with V12 gold Top Secret Supra.

i molded mine using everglass its about 50. a gallon my price, but if you do any type of motorsports i wouldnt mold it because eventually it will crack out from all the twisting force of the chassis

Google search with this string "bn sports body kits"...

...the results will provide you some suppliers who can get BN Sports kits.

For example, one of the results from Google just now was from SilviaParts.com:

What suspension are you using?! Once I get a set of 225 50 15s... My tires are going to stick out a good amount. I'm wondering if I can pull it off.

Bulge?? I believe overfender is the name. BUt I cant believe you called me on that and then referred to it as a bulge...

Two words that i'm surprised hasn't been mentioned yet:

PJ Bonifacio. I've been told "they fit PERFECT."

On George's S13:

yes, the wheels are diamond racing pro series 15x8 with 3"BS and 15x10 with 5" back space makes them around -30 and -5 offsets

the suspension was just spring/shock with godspeed sways and almost +2 degrees of camber out back, 205/50 azenis and 225/50 anything with of course welded diff, it was neutral to over stear in hard cornering.

can someone post the difference between rear quarter 30-50mm add-ons?

i know that some cover the entire rear, some have pre-made rivets, some go only halfway down the sides.

particularily between:

origin

vs

chargespeed

vs

version select?

Well 30MM vs 50MM is simple... its how far they extend the quarter. So basically 30MM=1.18 inches and 50MM=1.97 inches.

Now from what I have seen they are all rivit on's, its your but you dont have to. I have a set of 50MM's going onto my hatch now. The will be rivited and braced, then fiberglassed over. . They all come down to the indented bodyline on the car (S13). In my opinion I would get the Orgins. you paymore, but they are smoother right out of the box. But like any fiberglass aftermarket bodyparts, they are never 100% smooth.

Oh and you can still use them with most sideskirts, unless they are some crazy over the top style that come up really high.

The ones in that photo are the B-Magic brand and look like this when installed.

Are you going to put them on your coupe with the wideass wheels? Just cut the fenders in half and remold them wider for more room.
