here's my s13 i have been working on. i molded the whole front end and body kit to the car with fiberglass .93 240sx green hb end result will be all shaved and painted 350z blue with sr20 swap.

bought it bone stock. threw some xxr's on it. and 180sx garnish

then lowered it 1.8/1.5

changed wheels

5 lug swap and threw on some 19''s

then came the body work

front bumper was changed alot. it was a stupid ugly ebay bumperfilled in the bottom holes and smoothed out some of the lines

antenna and 3rd brake light shaved

most resent pics

i'll upload pics every couple of days to show the end result. the doors are almost done. let me know how it is. i know the rims are kinda big but i have a set of 350z wheels off of austinz32's vert that will probably go on there. i know people are gonna say its gonna crack. it has been done before on here. thanks for looking guys.

i was definitely expecting something much worse... if you can get the green on the new kit too, and get the 350z wheels on then you will be set

IT looks good but unless it's for a carshow queen then it's practicality is sort of gone. But alas it isn't my car nor my money so all I can really say is GL and hope it goes alright when you have to take the front cap off and your paint doesn't flex....ewww

Not my cup of tea either, but props for the effort.

If nothing else, you're getting a ton of experience, and there's nothing at all wrong with that...

A lot of the critics haven't gotten that kind of "trial and error" experience, so disregard the nasty comments.

I'd be concerned that you're losing the natural flex points, but that'll all be figured out once you go drive it hard.

You probably aren't going to find a whole lot of love for that thing on here. But, you obviously have put quite a bit of work into the thing, so hopefully you won't get too much hate.

It looks like the bumper, fenders, skirts, and rear quarters are all one piece. Will you have to cut it to remove it? Just curious, as I saw that you said you can take the bumper and fenders off.

Interested to see how it turns out when you're all done.

Man I'm doing one sorta like this.. With all the haters on here I never wanted to post pics..Mine is goin to be for show, but the front bumper of mine will not be molded.. The sides and back will never "have" to come off, but the front will when I do the turbo.. I'll post pics when we're done with the paint and body.. My wife wanted me to do the body first because all I've ever had was projects that were primered and slammed.. But with leaving the front unmolded it will be a little less aggravating when I do the motor.. Good luck buddy..

PS... A word of advice.. They sell this stuff called SMC panel weld.. It's about $40 a qrt.. If you dont put this on with your kit it be be more likely to crack.. The panel weld is what the use on upper end cars like ferrari's and such.. Check into it..

Mine will look similar to this one but with a different, not matching, front end.. Even though I love this car the orange isn't me.. I'm going HOK's Meteor Maroon..

Yeah the way you use it is sort of too late but, this is the way it's meant to be used.. You put some between the kit and the car and put a screw through it to hold it on.. Then give it time to adhere and rmove screw.. Wipe it like bondonwhere the kit meets the car and then mold it in.. This keeps it from flexing.. Mine's still primered and I've got a rough long driveway and no cracks.. I live in the country where there are really bad roads, and no crack.. It's a really good thing to drive it while doing body as well so you will do the damage before you put expensive paint on it. Any questions you have you can e-mail me directly.. [email protected] Good luck with yours, and as it was stated before it's your car do it so that you like it.. Don't worry about all the naysayers//
