To all you haters out there (not targeting anyone specific in this thread), enough with the superiority complex. You have no right to tell someone that what they are doing is right or wrong just because it doesn't conform to what you think a car SHOULD be. The car SHOULD be whatever the owner wants it to be, whether is be a beater, tuner, or show car (or wanna-be show car).

I think the term "rice" should apply to people who put little effort into creating a something of quality and fail to meet the degree resulting in something that looks worse than before.

What I see in this thread is someone unique and putting a lot of effort into his car. He wants something different than the rest of the same cars. He wants to stray away from OEM, stock aero, and typical drift body kits. His car will be one-of-a-kind and those who lack the creativity and drive to create something like this need to stick to what they know (and like) best and not discard others ideal image of their perfect car.

So to all you haters out there, stop with your high and mighty judgments and let the turning of heads be the deciding factor.

To the OP: GL with your car, looking forward to seeing the finished product!

Looks good. Hopefully you paint it nicely and don't bottom out and mess it up. As long as you like it it's all good. The guys ragging on your car are probably the same ones who jerk it to drift cars with their body panels hanging off and being held by zipties....

theres the link. man
If ya look at the front bumper you'll c the little hump right at the fender... That, and the fact that it was fiberglass, was one of the reasons I decided to go with a different front end that matched up pretty well on the side.. Good body work though.. Nice color too Pretty close to mine.

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it was so clean to start with.

but let me finish. i personally never liked or will ever mold a kit on. but i have had friends do it and seen it done where it looks good. to the OP it looks like you know what your doing and have a goal. i am not one to judge anyboby willing to try something diffrent. and even more important doing the work your self is much more rewarding in the end. i give props to you for that. as far a the car goes i will withhold final judgment till i see the end resut. in the mean time looks interesting. wrong.

I'm not usually the person who makes fun of people and "hate" on peoples stuff, but this molded body thing just makes no sense.

I'm not sure why you guys are defending him.I don't jack off to drift cars with panels falling off of them.

I like to simply use my brain when deciding what to do with my car. Why would you want to permanently (without destroying) attach your bumpers(ugly ones too) to your fenders? It just doesent make sense, is this more suitable than zipties?

Sometimes you need to remove your bumper, what if your car needs to be towed?

I don't throw around the term "rice," because it has no official meaning. If rice means,"doing things to your car that don't help, or hurt your cars performance," then yes, this is "rice."

Op: your car looked pretty clean in the first few pics, goodluck with your sr swap

Sorry to bash your project here, but once you do more research about these cars and what they can potentially look like, I think you'll regret permananly attaching one of the worst looking bumpers for the s13 on your car. You can't fix ugly, not with bondo

OP don't let other peoples opinions, including mine, sway what you want from your car.. Just as long as it looks good to you then thats all that matters..

You're doing a good job..

Op take the kit off put stock aero back on, slam your car, and get some mb battles, so you can look just like the other 20,000 s13's here on nico.

Seriously i think you are doing a good job. With the green glass you are using for that body kit to crack you almost have to crash the car or bottom out real hard.

Car looked good in second pic, minus the fake jdm plate thing. I hope you don't regret picking out that front bumper(is that what that thing is?) cause it will be a lot of work to remove and replace with a nice one.

Good luck with your project.

idk make me an offer. i paid $650 for it its all the additives and hardeners, etc for daytona blue. the only thing it doesnt include i primer and clear coat. its du pont brand. unfortunately its an expensive color no matter what brand you get, so i decided to go with something i knew was good
