you are godralphsdiorama wrote:People have to learn to calm down. I have been on this forum for years and Nicoclub just isn't the comfortable environment it used to be. The wealth of knowledge that is available is fantastic but there are far too many members that are quick to blow a gasket over none sense such as accidentally posting in the wrong section or even noobish questions. When you are a part of a community as large as this you have to learn to accept that a question or post that you have seen a million times may have never been seen by others. If searchable, then politely tell them so or ignore it if it really makes you that annoyed. It is not the noob questions or accidental posts that clutter this site but the persistent whining that follows from some members.
And sometimes, when things get real bad, you just have to apply your lessons learned, and make a new account.Hijacker wrote: Either you move on and ignore them, you keep doing what you're doing and fight back (which leads to threads being locked), or you take the Nala route and use it to your advantage.
Seriously WTF does that even mean? Why don't you just start over and re-type the whole sentence in some sort of coherent manner? Is English your first language? If not, tell us what is so we have a better idea of what you are trying to say (many of us mods are Bi-lingual).ReDsT@R DRiFt@R wrote: Take out seem add a is before not
No I shouldn't have to make a new account because some members don't like what my post are about. I was flammed for posting in the wrong thread and it didn't stop when I put the post in the right thread. There's no pleasing some people in this world.PapaSmurf2k3 wrote:

Ok that's still wrong but now its at least readable. Not to mention its completely un-true.ReDsT@R DRiFt@R wrote:
The moderators are controlled by the members that think a post isn't cool or is not their's. My bad I was hella tired
No it doesn't matter if the spelling or grammar is perfect they will still read it and flame away. And what was wrong with my sig, you didn't fix it you removed itPapaSmurf2k3 wrote:

FYI, people don't mind the occasional typo or grammatical error, but when a post is absolutely riddled with them, people often give up on trying to read and revert to flaming.
I fixed your sig for you.
Judging by what I've seen you post, you are better off trusting the spell check, even if you think its wrong. If you find a word that you know is right and spell check flags it, let us know and we might be able to change it. If you don't want to do that, get Firefox, it has built in real time spell checker.ReDsT@R DRiFt@R wrote:I've used the spell check before and it tells me the same spelling for a word that I know doesn't look right. Same with the "search engine", I search for what am gonna post and it says no results found. As for my sig there's been others with just as big if not more pixels or size pics. I had that sig on for at least 2 or 3 days and it wasn't a problem to other mods. It's so hard to please the unpleasable I guess.
Well, maybe NICO just isnt for you. I have NEVER had a problem with NICO. however, i have been a member for 4 years and have been driving these cars for just as long. Its not like NICO is MAKING you be on here. Dont like it, go elsewhere?ReDsT@R DRiFt@R wrote:I've used the spell check before and it tells me the same spelling for a word that I know doesn't look right. Tell that to a cop the next time you are pulled over and see how it floats...ReDsT@R DRiFt@R wrote:As for my sig there's been others with just as big if not more pixels or size pics. Come on.......
Sorry bubz, not I.Black on Gold wrote:Matt, quit f***ing with me lol. i know its you that messed with my sig seeing how my sige was 618 x 226. BARELY, above NICO's limit
Fixed, BTW
Not really an English teacher persay, but really some people on this forum that actually have good grammar. There are quite a few grammar whores on this forum that would be pretty helpful grammar wise. It's a pretty good suggestion, but it probably wouldn't be accepted. I don't think the admins want mods going around changing members text around.Black on Gold wrote:So NICO needs to hire an English Teacher to troll the forums? Sounds geh
Simply use Fire Fox which will tell you when you have a screw up. The base NICO spell check works OK too, but not automated.King Ranzo wrote:I think Nico needs a Grammar Patrol. I set of mods who patrol the forums and fix grammar. I think that would be awesome.
