Dude, exactly who's all hot and bothered by this? But now I am bothered by this and only this comment ... How and why they HELL would you bring such a national travesty in for comparison? This was uncalled for. I don't have to know any firefighters from 9/11 in order to give respect ... those men and women gave their lives for this country; they earned, they deserve it and by using that as a comparison, you're way off base.
We're talking about a ridiculous antic by somebody who had what I would call "problems". It's stupid IN MY OPINION. Any time you'd like to sit and compare our lifelong accomplishments I'd be more than happy. But your statements are without merit and I believe you're being rude here. I stated these are MY opinions and just like others here, I really don't give a crapola about it. It's just an open discussion presented to us. So, did you know the owner of this car? Did you have any interest in the car? If not, then maybe YOU have the worst "********" attitude ever because your attitude reflects like you're taking personal interest in something that deserves commentary from the 240 enthusiasts community.

Its mine, and I vote bury me in it/crush it, or give it to a known trusted friend so he can race it til it pops... then crush it.

Note I don't expect it to last through a weekend after giving it to a friend to race it til it pops. Pull the wastegate line, and go to town.

I can't believe there are so many people in this thread that are so vehemently against this idea.

...and no, its not the same as handing down a house. Anyone can live in a house and appreciate its finer qualities, but I really don't see my mom apexing my S13 at redline.

... you can also drive a nice car and appreciate its finer qualities, but if you knew your house would be sold "possibly" to undesirables, would you wish to destroy it? Again, "possibly" as was assumed by the car owner in this case. It might also go to somebody who would appreciate it and continue to take pride in it. Guess we'll never know; he got his wish; end of story ........ or is it???
