so the car was crushed in memorial, but the motor was taken out and sold? money given to family.
eh, ok.
heres my 2 cent. that was a very nice example of a 240sx.
if your pal wanted no one driving it, then dont sell it, dont crush it. drain it and cover it...hell wrap it in plastic to keep the bugs out and store it.
keep it stored until a relative needs college money or the family needs a car or some money. it couldve been used for SOMETHING other than a complete f*** waste of time.
im all for last words and wishes...but the guy didnt say crush his f*** car.
s*** idea, silly motives...and if it was that special...no one wouldve been laughing the s*** up.
stupid.

absolutly agree, if they say they're doing it in memory to him why laugh as they destroy what was probably his most prized possesion?

I say crush that bish so it dies and comes to heaven with me so we can party it up and pick up hot angels.

I totally understand where he's coming from.

NOTE TO NICO: IF I DIE, CRUSH MY CAR AND/OR BURY ME IN IT. And leave the damn engine in it!

Most people in this thread are acting like they are somehow entitled to this guys stuff. You aren't.

its not like its a freaking exotic or rare piece of history
That's the point; it's a 240 ... aren't we fanatics here? It really hurt to watch, especially because it really was a nice looking example. Sorry, I'm a car-guy.

What?! I better rewrite my will, those liars! Wait, so are you and Papa a couple of those guys that don't get upset when Hollywood wrecks classic cars in the movies? Aw man ... I'm upset now. I wasn't, but now I am. All hope is doomed. The 240 world has been turned on its side. :chuckle:

Hey wait, my car just increased in value, I should be happy! :gapteeth:

Guy dies and they kill his very nice coupe s13.

I dont know about you but thats a little childish. And somewhat barbaric.

I hate to see what they do to his friends and pets.

Depends on what you call a classic car. An S13? I couldn't really care. Eleanor? Yeah I'm going to hope they are using some sort of cardboard and/or hollywood trickery.

Define destroying a car:
1) Crushing that bish
2) Letting the car sit and rot, or change hands 5x until finally it comes to some ricer who goes out street racing, adds some neon, and ends up either modding it until its useless, or crashing it like a dumb ricer would.

Its mine, and I vote bury me in it/crush it, or give it to a known trusted friend so he can race it til it pops... then crush it.

God that was painful to watch. I couldn't even finish it. I'd love to have a car like that. Jesus that thing was clean. Such a shame :tisk:

When I die I want a true 240sx s13 drift/touge/shutoku enthusiast to have my car. I know just the guy too. NEVER KILL A CAR if you don't have to. I get just as pissed when they crush good cars cause drug dealers owned them like the evo on top gear... screw that that's just wrong.

All of you guys are f*** little babies, how many of you think you would acually get one part off that car? I would say less the 1%. Its not like a f*** lambo get over it.
And heres some quotes from one of his friend hater dan.
nah the guy who was running the rig was the only none family/friend there. but he was a friend of one of the friends. I just posted it up because its a rad way to remember a friend. there was a description on the video before I guess they took it off
the car was crushed into a small little block and burried today. junkyard is in florida
as for the "good parts that were on it" heres a quote from tim's wishes:

"the whole point was to let all of tims parts go to salvage so some ***hole fanboy doesnt get hold of them."

even in death he showed how much he hated the fanboys. so bad a**
he was a bigger dude and he had some heart issues. he pretty much died out of no where in his sleep.

scary s*** though the night he died his facebook said

"Hey dudes I'm not feeling so good so come claim my stuff now and put me in my car and crush it so the fanboys don't strip it."

the next morning his roommate found him in bed

totally sucked he was totally straight edge
Now all of you need to respect his wished and STFU

That was what he wanted. He wanted the car to be crushed, so his friends fulfilled his wishes.

Although it would have been cooler if they got a monster truck to run it over or something.

Well I personally did not know the guy, so therefore I have no reason to be "respectful" to his wish, nor follow anybodys directive to STFU. This is the same as me taking vicious care and pride in my house and having it burned down upon my demise simply because I don't want any party people buying it and trashing it ... no, I have family and good friends to leave it to anyway. Forming again on MY opinion here, but it sounds as if he was a lonely and selfish kind. I have no wants off the car, nor do I feel deserved of any; I'm a car-guy and it is and shall be my opinion that this was a waste and totally ridiculous.

I think Bersh said it best re: his cats. :rotflmao

You have the f*** worst atitude ever, Its a car thats over 20 years old get over it.
Did you know any fire fighters that died on 9/11? So that means you dont have to show them any respect since you never knew any of them. Like I said STFU and how about you grow up.

:iconeek Dude, exactly who's all hot and bothered by this? But now I am bothered by this and only this comment ... How and why the HELL would you bring such a national travesty in for comparison? This was uncalled for. I don't have to know any firefighters from 9/11 in order to give respect ... those men and women gave their lives for this country; they earned, they deserve it and by using that as a comparison, you're way off base.
We're talking about a ridiculous antic by somebody who had what I would call "problems". It's stupid IN MY OPINION. Like I stated, I'm a car-guy; it doesn't matter that it's 20 years old, it's the point of trashing something that "we" hold near and dear. Jeez, I'm not curled up in a corner and sobbing like a teenage girl that just got let down at the dance. This IS the 240 discussion board is it not? Aren't we fans of the car? Am I not entitled to my opinion? But as you have stated yours (directly to me), I don't have to STFU, and I definitely don't need to grow up. Any time you'd like to sit and compare our lifelong accomplishments I'd be more than happy. But your statements are without merit and I believe you're being rude here. I stated these are MY opinions and just like others here, I really don't give a crapola about it. It's just an open discussion presented to us. So, did you know the owner of this car? Did you have any interest in the car? If not, then maybe YOU have the worst "********" attitude ever because your attitude reflects like you're taking personal interest in something that deserves commentary from the 240 enthusiasts community.

Hug?

why, can't everyone just not give a flyin f***? The car is already dead! It wasn't your car and you can't do anything about it! This is why there are so many pissed off people in the world, just move on guys! Quit living in the past.
