Welcome,

You might want to search next time.Try ebay.

There are not many options for the Zenki out there. besides clear lenses and retro fits.

and it sucks... Damned Honda's got so many options and all the Zenki's got are German Euro OEM glass headlights, Final Konexxion's and the SuperMade retrofits...

Makes no sense...

I think you have it backwards, companies only make clean understated after market headlights, there is no lack of options. The Zenki 240SX has, as of yet, been unmolested by things like halos and cruddy projectors. If the time comes that the internet is scattered with ugly F&TF style headlights for the Zenki I might just sell my car. I think the lack of stupid headlights is the saving grace of this car. If you feel obligated to own a pair of crappy ebay headlights, then go buy a Honda.

Wow. Way to go to extemes. I'm not referring to cheap ebay lights that leak when it rains and whatnot... I'd just like to have more options than what we got.

It's fine if you luv your OEM Zenki lights. I for one think they are fugly, but redeemable with some work...

Some ppl like diy projects like this. I don't. I got too much other diy stuff to worry about. I'd love something like this in a one piece that included/integrated our turn signal lights... I just wanna be able to go online and order up something like this. It's a final konnexxion, but it had to be modified to look this good.

So SideWays=smiles, if you think that this is ricey or that OEM is better than this, well... I um.... just don't give a damn.

One off pieces are cool because they are just that, one off. The way I see it, having a truly unique, yet still functional car, sometimes you need to do things yourself. Being able to just order things like that off the internet just puts the 240SX once step closer to being the next Honda civic.

I don't think the stock zenki headlights are all that attractive, but they are functional, they have decent light output, and if maintained, yellowing can be kept to a minimum. I feel no need to upgrade them because it would serve little purpose.

It all comes down to opinion, for me, as far as money is concerned, function always trumps form, I will change the look of my car, but only if the price is right. I just dont understand why so many people are trying so hard to look different, when they all end up looking the same.

I'm glad we can have a disagreement and still play it cool. In some ppl's case, being different is the name of the game. I, however, simply want something that give my car a little bit of an updated look, appeals to ME and is not too much work.

Power to those 'one off' guys though! They are the pioneers of the game.

I have only one response to this.

Those who know me, understand that I enjoy a healthy argument, its good to know there are others out there that aren't afraid to disagree while keeping everything civil.

Huh, never seen those before.

Im not entirely sure they are for the S chassis. It would make attaching the headlight on the outside impossible other than that single top plastic strut.

It me the contours dont seem to fit the Zenki lights. The bottom corner of the parking lights seem to come down to a corner, where as the stockers are round. Also the part that meets the grill does not seem to have the angle it should.

VS.

Looks like someone is trying to get their scam on. Looks close, but we all know for sure, that ish ain't oem.

But my local performance shop recently asked me to inquire online to see if there was a market for aftermarket Zenki headlights so, I guess I'll start an interest thread soon...

You know, they may be base model R33 headlights. I know all the R33 headlights were single piece.

Screw it, this scammer is getting his post flagged.

Buy some Germans. They're sexy as hell. I never thought my stock lights looked bad in the first place, but when I switched over, wow. Night and day.

the one piece light look as though they are mid 90's honda accord headlights, most definitly a scam, i personally love everything about my zenki, i have polished the hell outta my headlights and they look better than yellow, however i wont give in to the super clear light trend, i think it looks worse than stock, And whoever did the projector retrofit in that maroon S14 i give mad props and completely respect the dude who did it, it looks factory good, but im not a fan of the projectors in the zenki glass, it just doesn't fit IMO, but i guess its yin vs yang, just like how i prefer S13 silvia bricks over the 2x projectors over the 3x projectors, but thats just me talkin lol, i shall digress

i know there is a pic in the zenki check in thread (i'm too lazy to look for it) of a zenki with clear lenses that were tinted a bit. it looked clean as hell and is the route that i'm going to take when i get to that point. i'm pretty sure the car was maroon if anyone knows which one it was and feels like posting it up. actually, please do if you know what pic i'm talking about, i'd like to see it again lol.

nm, i got ambitious and found it

I feel ya man, s13 bricks > s13 projectors. I never really made that connection on the Zenki s14 though. That's kinda interesting. I keep thinking I want to retrofit projectors, but I haven't seen anyone create a decent looking shroud. Plus I love that OEM reflective material in the housing. I think I'm just gonna get some clear lenses and try out some Sylvania Silverstars and K.I.S.S.

I think that looks like absolute horse s***, but that's my opinion.

They're like giant bug eyes and don't fit at all. They look great on the R33, but not on the S14.
