2012 Dash Kit Options? (aftermarket radio)

I've been reading around, and apparently there isn't a dash kit available for the 2012 Rogue yet. I saw that the 2011 full trim kit with the vents and everything is an option to install a headunit, but it's rather pricey ($100).

Are there any other options at this point? I have everything I need to install an Avic D3 into my Rogue, wiring harness, antenna adapter, 6v voltage regulator for camera, extra set of RCA's for the camera. Pinout, etc. i just don't have anything to mount up the Dash kit.

Would I be better off using a piece of ABS Plastic and making my own dash kit, or is there a Scosche/Metra/Best kit out for a 2012 yet? Thanks a bunch guys.

Thanks man. I was looking for this thread again as that's where I found the difference between the 11 and 12 dashes. This kit I linked is specific to the 12's. Waiting for Sonicelectronix to get back to me to see if they can get me one. Nobody has one in stock yet.

good. just didnt want you to get whatever dash has that large hole, and be disappointed.

lol I did actually. i have the 11 dash kit at the house. It came in a package w/ the harness and antenna adapter for cheap, so I'm not out any $$$ luckily.

So far this kit is not available anywhere... it's too new :\ Sonicelcetronix said they won't get it in till 2013. Looks like I have to wait to do this install...

No, I'm impatient. I have the 2011 kit. I'll make it work. Ordered a 12x12 sheet of ABS plastic. Gonna make my own kit like I used to do when I installed stereos. I need this installed by next week cuz we're taking a road-trip to Phoenix from Texas.
