anyway we can move the finish line so we don't drive off that cliff? maybe making you go around the cornor and then a finish. Then make them come down the short cut in the middle then out. that finish line is haggard

We actually discussed this earlier in this thread. We're not planning to move the finish line around that big corner. It'll slow things down as too many people will make full cool off laps. We want to get in as many runs as possible for everyone. The current plan is to adjust that last sequence of turns on the back straight to prevent you more experienced autocrossers from accelerating hard thru them. The lower exit speed there should hopefully make going off the track at the end more of a choice.

If they have media passes issued by the fairgrounds, they don't need to be on our list. The faigrounds personnel will be issuing credentials to get into the pits along with the media passes this year.

However, keep in mind, this only applies to people who will have media passes issued by Carlisle Fairgrounds.

Hey Sean, (this is Sean right? LOL), if you're trailering into the fairgrounds make sure you pay the extra $10-15 upfront when you register. I didn't do it and it was a pain in the a** to do at the fairgrounds last year!

Hi Fred. Tech, registration, gate security, corner working are pretty much on-going throughout both days. The mornings will typically be busier for reg/tech than the afternoons. The corner workers are only needed for autocross, And we'll need some volunteers to help remove/set up cones during the transitions.

Whenever and wherever you feel like pitching in is up to you and greatly appreciated.

The track schedule (drift vs. autocross) should be out soon.
