2010 Altima Lineup....A Fresh Look For The New Model Year
All Altima models receive updated styling and new standard and available features for 2010
The Altima has a sharp new look for 2010. The styling update is particularly noticeable from the front, where the bumper, grille, and hood have been redesigned. The rear license plate finisher and aluminum-alloy wheels also have been restyled.
Inside, fabrics and accents have been updated, including changes to the automatic transmission finisher, instrument gauges, and cloth seat stitching.
New fuel economy ratings result in a 1 mpg improvement in highway mileage estimates for both the 4-cylinder and V6 engines. For the V6 engine, regular fuel is now recommended instead of premium.
Feature upgrades are another important part of the story for 2010. For example, Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) is now standard on all trim levels.
Altima also offers the next-generation Nissan Hard Drive Navigation System, which replaces the previous DVD-based system. It adds new features including XM NavWeather™ real-time weather reports, a 9.3GB Music Box, a USB port to connect an iPod® or other portable device, streaming audio via Bluetooth®, DVD playback, and an expanded point-of-interest (POI) database that even includes the Zagat® restaurant guide.
A new 4.3-inch color display and a USB port with iPod® connectivity are included on vehicles equipped with the Bose® audio system.
Two additional changes simplify the Altima Sedan lineup. The 3.5 SL is discontinued, and all sedans come equipped with Xtronic CVT. Altima Coupe is still available with a choice of 6-speed manual transmission or Xtronic CVT.
On both the Sedan and Coupe, the sporty 3.5 SE trim level has been renamed 3.5 SR. The 3.5 SR Coupe models with manual transmission come equipped with the Leather and Premium packages.
Altima Coupe gets unique projector beam headlights and an available red leather interior. These new features help differentiate the Coupe from the Sedan, and give Altima Coupe a more aggressive and sporty appearance.
wow boy does it SUCK for altima sedan owners...no more manual transmissions!!!! wow wow wow. sucks big time for future sedan owners.
but for coupe owners, WOW! SOO NICE! RED FREAKING LEATHER INTERIORS AND PROJECTOR HEADLIGHTS!plus manual transmission only with the top spec car. manual for the elite haha (lol jk)
