Some of the dealers here in Canada are starting to get more info... They are being very secretive until I call their bluff and start naming some of the new features it will have... then the guy brought out this sheet, which i didn't get much time to review so don't remember much but I definitely saw projector headlights for both 2.5 and 3.5 as well as folding mirrors. I think they've also changed the amber illumination on the dash to white or something like that. Exterior-wise, it definitely talked about a new grill, etc. so looks like that spy photo must be real. I'm so excited to see this car. Also there was something about the trim on the inside of the doors that's been updated.

I checked around regarding the pictures. Apparently, NIssan has forced some of the autoblog sites to remove the spy shots that we have here... and in their press release, indeed they confirm that the vehicle in the picture IS a 2010 Altima, but they would not comment further. Also, since we now see what the front bumper looks like on the Altima Sedan (Looks nothing like what's in the picture) I guess we can all agree with the ghuy that posted the pictures in the first place, who stated that they told him it was the 2010 Altima coupe.. that indeed it is the 2010 Altima coupe...

and I don't know about the rest of you guys, but I think I'll just take their projectors and put em on my 08 coupe ... sorry, but the 08/09's look sexier to me!

Then why the hell do we have 2 s***ty pictures? Total garbage. Even if I was just driving by I would have taken like 2394082304983 pictures....at all angles.

Its all to me.

lol it's not nissan how forced autoblogs to take the pics down. it's TK since he's the original copyright owner of the pics. he emailed me about it lol.

about the 2010 look of the car. I still wait to see what nissan has done with it. all arround and in the interior too

that information comes straight from a confidential nissan corporate product line production quota, option, feature, and availability report that tells what theyre going to make, how many they plan on making, when they are available for order and anything else you wanna know except msrp, thats kept a surpise until the full public release, Mainly because of leaky ppl like myself

The info covers the ENTIRE line of altima, coupe and sedan. And as of date, the ONLY lighting upgrade offered is optional, and is HID xenon (No projectors) IF that changes it wont be until mid model year. the line is already rolling and it has been set in stone.

THE ONLY WAY I SEE THIS CHANGING is if they have kept the ultimate in tight security from the engineering department, and did not include information on the dealer required reports

This is crazy... no projectors?!? How can the Murano have Projectors since 2004 and the 2010 Altima still does not have any. Insanity... wake up Nissan... give the people what they want!

That's exactly right.. I think that is for sedan. I'm still very confident that it will have projectors judging by the official Nissan documents I saw at the dealership. And it's pretty obvious in that spy photo.

I don't know.. unless it's only Canada that gets them and not the US but I'd HIGHLY doubt that.

I'm so excited! I can't wait for sept. 30!

My current lease on my civic expires on October 29th and I'd like to step into a new altima coupe by then. Hopefully it's not cutting it too close. What's the likelyhood Canadian dealers would get them by then. Also is there any way to negotiate a good deal on something that is so new?

Thanks!

Dealership

Im just lucky enough to get ALL the nissan official statements delivered to my inbox that go to the owner and GM. As of last info. the line is in production now, and if any changes are made it will be mid model year.

Projector headlights have not been mentioned in ANY e-mail of reports to the sales dept. service dept. managers. or store owners.

so IF there are projector headlights guys its the HUGE secret (theres always one or Two BIG secrets that are kept from EVERYONE) and yes there is atleast one with altima, and altima coupe because there have been no msrp prices, or breakdowns (break down is a list of how much charged for every bolt nut & screw, and light and fabric and paint and everything, at the end it totals to INVOICE then mark up = MSRP) since we have yet to recieve these reports it means theres atleast ONE big secret thats preventing them from releasing the breakdown due to risk of leaks.

Example : Nissan Versa, I can tell you how much they charge for everything including the headlights (so if altimas headlights are a secret i wont get that report until the press release because thy have to tell in that report if its projectors or not)

p17 to 27

red interior is pretty much a given now also the new CRIMSON BLACK color looks like the new 2010 maxima color (also kinda like the 370z roadster)

Ocean gray should also be the same as the new maxima

I think it must be the huge secret. I saw projectors on the feature list document at my local Canadian dealership. Unless it's a misprint like someone else on this forum said).

Unfortunately, that also claims projectors on the sedan, which we are hearing to be untrue. Take that for what it's worth. May be just a typo...

It says it only comes with the highest package on the 3.5SL, its not standard like with all coupe models. Still could be valid.
