Over here the nav package is a rip off.. usually about $3000 CAD or so -- can't really justify when you can get a 3rd party pioneer or something for much cheaper. And 9.3gb music server is not that big... rather just get the premium package on your 2.5s with usb and then get a 16gb usb key for $35.

In terms of waiting for '09 price to drop.. i suspect it's near its lowest point already.
so for the 09 altima coupe 2.5s CVT with navi and leather seat for $30,000is the lowest MSRP ? okay.... so how much can i get out the door after $2000 rebate with nissan .....is 28K out the door with all the tax and fee possiable?

ya, doesn't make sense... there's no way. He must have meant something different than what we think.

Also, the more I think about it, the more I think I'll wait for the 2010 2.5s. The VDC /Traction will be good to have and I think the new look will kick a**... I always felt the '08 ad '09 altima front ends were kinda unexciting/boring -- definitely needs something to spice it up. I just hope they haven't messed the rear and the sides leading up to it.. which to me is perfect and is what's selling me on this car!

So fingers crossed, the 2010 2.5s is what'll do it for me. If Nissan jacks up the finance rates too high I guess i'll just have to go through the bank.

I'll bet we got almost the identica deal except the tech package was discounted due to not being able to find the color I wanted in a 6M/T, my car was actually driven up from Cincinnati, I wanted dark slate or silver..Black is dead sexay, but we know how much of a beotch it is to keep clean. I wanna say out the door was 28, 672 or something like that

Sometimes i think Nissan was just lazy at making a coupe, just to get one out the door.. *tail lights, headlights, speed sens locks* little things like that.. and some of the quality issues, cause its an 08 or was, and older model vechicles have some of these feat. that the coupe does not. Then turn around and "oh we got....... for 09!" cmon now, they are not APPLE. ahha. "give em a camera this time!!!" smh

I got the 3.5SE CVT with every package you can think of including floor mats for $30k on the dot. Only thing I didn't get was navigation. And btw, my step bro works for the Nissan plant in MS. I need to e-mail him to ask about the 2010. Problem is, I think they only make the Sedans in Mississippi.

EDIT: lol, e-mailed him and got this...

"check back with me in a few weeks or visit http://www.nissanusa.com/altima/"

I bet he's under NDA.

have try to find the car thats 09 altima coupe 3.5SE with CVT and fully loaded with leather and NAVI, its sold out within in 75 radiouse miles around me. and out the door would be $33,000I guess in los angeles is hard to find a 3.5SE fully loaded with CVT and NAVI leather at the same time. no one have it....so can't even talk about the deal. thats why i try to get the 2.5S with CVT fully loaded. you said 29.5 out the door for the 3.5 SE CVT with NAVI and LEATHER? thats 2000 below MSRP, how you do that ? or the dealer really wants to make a sale because that month no one buy the car. tell me more please??

Think I posted this before .. .

June 13th 2008, day I graduated high school.

Went to Nissan to pick up my car I bought, with My own money (I know what you where thinking)

Sticker on floor was 28k with Premium pkg (Bose, Leather, Sunroof, electro rear view mirror, nice rims, not the fake hubs)

went through costco and they same dealer took it down to 25.3k no questions asked.

I had a 6k trade in F-150 and ended up financing 22k after tax lice and reg @ 5% coming to a total of about 350 a month for 6 years. (lowest possible rate, no, I signed that check out on my own name) - no mommy daddy

We have a really good set of dealerships in my town, they don't scam, mark up, etc...anything. And the service is really good.

MSRP is a suggested price - it's not what the dealer paid. The dealer paid less that what I paid for the car as well...

My family has also bought a ton of cars from the dealer, so I was a "repeat" customer.

Basically, go around, get prices, and then tell each dealer what the other one wants. They'll lower the price because they want the sale...do that and bring it to the dealer you want to buy from. Try buying at the end of a month, etc...

There's no way it's an Altima in any sort. The hood is way to short, the body lines are wrong, there's no turn signals on the mirrors, and there'd be no reason to do a complete redesign on a vehicle that's only been out for 3 years. Everything about that picture is too small.

Seriously, it's not the Altima.
You can't tell the hood depth from a 2d pic at this angle. I bet if you got down to close to grill height on your car and took a pic it would look similar.

This is NOT a complete redesign, this is just the mid-model refresh, they did the same thing after about 3 model years with the 2002 sedan (refreshed for 2005), as do most car makers.

Nissan would HAVE to update the coupe at the same time due to the shared metal and parts between the cars. It would be INCREDIBLY cost inefficient to keep making the parts and have the factory tooled for both the older metal and parts for the coupe and newer stuff for the sedan. Also it would break the continuity of the model line.

I do believe this shot is of the 2.5s Coupe, I cannot see fogs or turn signals on the mirrors, and it's possible they are using the 2.5 for this particular ad. If it's an ad about fuel efficiency or whatever they may want to show a 2.5 during part of the shoot.

Overall, I'm not sold. I was really hoping for a more substantial tuck on the lights and the grille. Guess we'll see how the sedan front end looks (coupe is not for me).

I would guess they are going to bump the HP to about 275 on the SR, just to move it ahead of the Mazda 6 and the Accord.

Not that I should really be looking to trade in my car anyway

Since when do you EVER see a Car Manufacturer use their low end model to advertise the car? They always use the fully loaded car to make it the most appealing, and then show the starting price for the stock stock version and an Asterisk (*). Then you see is tiny print, blah blah blah model shown. That's how it's always been done....

I still call that that's really a A/C.

Have I got a scoop for you guys!

HERE ARE THE NEW 2010 HEADLIGHTS!!!

I'm really tempted to say that these are the SEDAN HEADLIGHTS since they don't have the round shaped highbeam WITH the round lowbeam like on the spyshot pic.Nissan cheaped out and didn't give them projector headlights again lol. only reflective housing. ah well...at least now I don't have to worry about them fitting or not lol. really HOPE THAT THE COUPE HAS PROJECTORS

lol! wish I could!!

but like I said, I think these are the sedan lights since the side profile kinda looks like the sedan and not the coupe's.

here are 19 more:

trust me, those can't be anything else than 2010 models or prototype models.they must be from scrapped preproduction cars
