Hi! I just finished reading through your story. Great job restoring that. Makes me wonder what the inside of my engine looks like, but I'm scared to look! Too bad your valve covers can't be seen.

Can you tell me more about the trans cooler that fit between the condenser and radiator and cooling fans. I was just about to mount a trans cooler in front of my condenser, but now that I see your setup I'm considering copying your work. Do you remember brands and info on how everything was installed?

There is at least an inch between the condenser and the radiator so any transmission cooler 1" or thinner would work. This is the one I have: Tru-Cool - Max LPD47391 47391 Low Pressure Drop Transmission Oil Cooler https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0060NKA1U/re ... 5BbVNBTTSM

Because of your thread, I have slowly restored my 2002 QX4. So far I have done new OEM Valve covers, new Maf sensor, spark plugs, a new coil pack, new oil cooler seals, complete KYB Shocks/Struts, Moog Springs, Moog front end kit, rear main seal, upper oil pan seals, engine and trans mount. All seals for the front differential. Slowly but surely making this road trip worthy. Thank you for sharing and inspiring us to continue to love our Pathy’s/QX4’s...
