I know, I was just trying to save a few bucks, lol. Oh well, I'm ordering up a TQ plate, and after I use it, I'll rent it out.idahotuner wrote:litte extra displacement cant hurt

You're telling me, lol. I just hope it'll be worth it in the end! I didn't go through any performance shop this time, just a machine shop that has a lot of experience building SRs. I always forget the name of it, lol. I will be doing the assembly myself.Fuel4Blood wrote:Just read through your whole thread. What a rollercoaster ride it's been. Props to you for sticking it out and not giving up. What shop did you go with for the second build?
Bottom end is being dynamically balanced to 9k. Will probably set the rev limit to 8700 or so. It really just depends on where I make power and if it'll be worth going that high. The cams I'm running aren't top end cams (260 duration 12mm lift). Yeah, the ATI is the only non stock pulley I'd ever buy.Fuel4Blood wrote:Nice, what are you going to set your rev limiter? I see you got that ATI-damper, thats a nice piece.
Wow 8700, sounds like it's gonna be a monster.2_Liter_Turbo wrote:Bottom end is being dynamically balanced to 9k. Will probably set the rev limit to 8700 or so. Lol. I may end up selling the cams, but I'm going to wait until I see what my powerband looks like.kentuckyslider wrote:Sell me the tomie 260's for my little 20g build and upgrade to the 270's so you can make power all the way to 8700rpm????
