2.5ers, email Travis if you seriously are interested in a 2.5S TURBO setup. He's completing the install for the Sentra SE-R and SE-R SpecV and it should relatively be the same since its the same motor and transmission (6mt).

We will begin fabrication in mid July, with testing to start in late July through mid August. This kit will be designed/built with top notch parts, including the following..

TIG welded 304L stainless manifold [h]with 4-1 collector (NOT a cheap log manifold)[/h]TIG welded 304L stainless FULL 3" downpipe and midpipeTIG welded, polished aluminum intercooler piping kit Bar/plate intercooler core with TIG welded/polished end tanks (size yet to be determined)T-bolt clamps and 3 ply silicone couplers Tial 38mm waste gate with dump tubeGarrett 50, 57 or 60 trim turbo (your choice), or, upgrade to Precision SC61 (+200.00)3" polished aluminum inlet pipeStainless braided oil feed and drain lines, plus fittings, bolts and flangesGreddy Type S BOV42lb injectorsApexi SAFC IIAll vacuum lines/hoses, clamps includedWalbro 190lph fuel pump (255lph upgrade free option)

Just to give you an idea of the type/quality of manifold that we will be using..

You will be able to choose between 3 different T3/T04E Garrett turbochargers, including a 50, 57 or 60 trim compressor, and T350 turbine. Housing choices will be .48, .63 or .82 A/R T3 for the turbine side.. and .50 or .60 A/R on the compressor side. As an upgrade, we will also offer a Precision SC6176E for an additional 200.00.

Precision Unit:(Photo: courtesy of HP Freaks)

In addition, we will be using authentic Tial and Greddy products.. to ensure reliabiliy and sound performance.

All fabbed parts will come with a lifetime warranty, against cracking.. ALL hot parts will be fabbed up from 304L stainless, to ensure a great look, and solid performance.

Our goal is 285-325whp, for our base kit, at stock boost pressure. The kit itself will have the potential to make anywhere from 400-600whp, depending on which turbo you decide on.

We are aiming for a retail price of 3995.00, and plan to do a group buy once testing is complete, and production is ready to commence.

Check back frequently, as we plan to hit this hard next month.. with results by early/mid August.

I didn't see mention of valve springs, would these need to be upgraded as well?

now thats a pretty good setup right there. only thing i might wanna change is the fuel management. seems like theyre gonna go with a hack since they have the SAFC. Damn if I didnt have a cvt and if I had the money, Id buy be in on this. I give this guy x100

As for the valve springs, you dont have to upgrade them. Not unless youre gonna boost big. But then if youre gonna do that, you might as well rebuild your whole engine. One thing id do, if youre gonna boost, is upgrade to a ACT cutch kit so that your trans dont start slipping. But then again, I dont think they made any for our cars yet.

I like your enthusiasm guys, but 3.5 > turbo 2.5 (J/k , had to be done before someone else did)

I would def like to see what kind of numbers this would put out.

Having that much HP on a 2.5, sounds like the car would take flight, literally.

Sorry to burst your bubble bro, but no way in hell your 2.5 is gonna put down anywhere close to 400-600 hp with this. Your 2.5 might put down 260 hp (if your lucky) from the upgrade he provides with stock internals. Thats 85hp, generous for 6psi on pump gas and a stock engine. Now if you build your motor, run race gas, and run 17psi or so. You can hit 400hp. Thats if you don't blow a transmission component first. 400hp is a HELL of a lot for a 2.5L 4 cylinder, thats two and a half times its original horsepower. Asking a lot out of Nissan's problem prone 2.5L block.

hey 3.5ers, GTFO this thread. its not for you.

only allowed if you have supportive words. no bringing 2.5ers down. this their time to shine!

their goal is to run 285-325whp for the kit on stock motor like it's said quoted above

there is this guy who is the first ever b16 sentra (2007+) specV to go turbo on his 2.5L qr25de and he is pushing 325WHP on 11psi of boost. Cost him 4335$ with install for custom turbo. and he didn't even upgrade the internals of his motor and he is running stock compression. he's been rolling for one year now. no probs

oh boy... i re-read the prior posts and here we go about the QR negatives....

to my understanding, the 07 sentra se-r spec v's and the 08+altima QR engines have been "fixed" back up, so the sidewall on the combustion chambers arent cheaply thin anymore... therefore the block is a ton harder to burst. i remember reading this back on the NICO ABOUT section for our engines a while ago.

hope this helps
