Anyone that seems to be getting through...have you talked to them about getting a group buy discount? I am sure we could get something with the amount of people in here that want this.

Whoa lets not jump the gun... we've been forever for this thing to even come out. Not quite sure if a group buy will be in our future.

But if it is.... I will be the first in line

Sorry folks - did an internal transferred and have been really busy with my new responsibilities lately. Spoke to the tube bending supervisor the other day and he said one week before the tubes leave paint and are available for the pre-production run. So mid next week..... Once the pre-production is done (1-2 day) they will go to full production; which means package everything we have. Unfortunately they are only making 40 unit on the first pass so we will have to see how it goes... but i"ll help as much as I can.

Agreed. I have a black car and all the plastic and covers in the engine bay are black. If this intake was black (like the leaked one...) I think it would give the final product an almost factory look when installed. But I'm afraid the silver is going to stick out and look stupid. I'm just going to hold off buying until they make some in black. If the intake was $200-$250 I might buy it and have it powder coated black, but for $300+ I can't justify added expense. Oh well.....
