Thank you very much.

i guess a fire is a good enough reason for the delay of the part.

I have no choice but to be patient and wait.

Again thanks for the update.

Has this intake came out for the 2008 altima 2.5 yet? I saw some post on here on pg 1 that seemed like it has and it was about $280 ish. I have not been able to find it anywhere online at all. Any help?

Keep calling customer service and identifying demand! We still don't have any news of if this will be available for the 3.5 too!

According to the K&N employee that has this in his Altima, it's a bit quieter than the Injen but more functional (just look at the heat-shield pulling double-duty there!)
If you guys didn't want to wait for the K&N you could go with the AEM. That's what I just put on my 2007 3.5 SE Sedan.....The kits are EXTREMELY Similar above are the K&N prototype pics by someone else.....

Below Here are the pics of the AEM intake that I just bought and put on my 2007 Altima 3.5 sedan.Just look at the comparison they both look to function in the same way. both have intake tubes leading to the filter from in front of the radiator. both have moved the Mass air flow sensor to the side, and both have put in a air baffle/box to funnel the air toward the filter.....The decision is up to you guys but just wanted to put this out there just in case some of you didn't want to wait. (I myself was waiting for a Nismo but got tired of waiting so I got the AEM) Very Happy so Far!

I got it from here link below (price wasn't the greatest but hey I was tired of waiting for Nismo to release theirs and figured Nismo's price would be comparable)

http://www.customcarscentral.c....html

and with Shipping it came to Subtotal 369.00 Shipping 18.42 Tax 0.00 Total 387.42

and I could have gotten it cheaper from here link below but didn't like the website not having the right picture to match the product number, (and it was 1AM and I didn't want to wait till next day to order it) they sell it for $318.80 + 14.95 shipping = $333.75

http://www.gripmotorsports.com....html

So it's up to you the price you want to pay but the product works great and I also have the Nismo exhaust and I think the 2 Pair very well together...IMO

DrootzPs. Yeah I guess it is time to clean the engine bay =)

Meh...I gave up and bought a Fujita like yourself! I got it powdercoated in black and I'm very happy with it... As for the funky heat-shield that K&N provides, I'm thinking of building some sort of custom-fab dealy-o...

I've seen only one Stillen body kit in the city...it was on a debadged grey coupe and instead of the burger in the back he had a chrome dragon (like the one I ordered on eBay MONTHS ago... *sigh*). I don't think the owner is on NICO though...at least, not that I've seen...

haha!I think I'll be the first in town with a splitter........

For what the intake does, I can no longer justify spending over $300 on it. I mean, the heat shield is nice and all, but I only paid $200 for my Fujita (including shipping) and I can't see the K&N working any better than this does. If I lived in Cali, however, it would be a different story 'cause I'm pretty sure I heard the K&N was CARB legal...

Hows this better than stock?

Apon just a quick visual inspection, my intake is a Box wich apears to be closed (i cant see whats under it) and is fed air from outside via a tube.

Where this one is a looks open and can possible suck in hot air?

Woudlnt you want it to be closed?

This sort of looks like a make me feel good product verses actualy being better than stock.

get a fujita intake as they are pretty cheap and give out the nice sound plus almost the same HP gains as these boxed short ram intakes

The kit number is now in the system and the tubes are in fabrication so it shouldn't be too much longer. Production has been running for several weeks but they had to focus on replenishing existing parts that were low stock before getting back on new development from where they left off in May.

Can't wait till this intake comes out. I'm going to order it the minute I see it offered for sale. Until then I get to keep some extra $$$ in my pocket.
