So were you going down a big hill? :poke: :D

In all seriousness, even after nearly 17 years of Q ownership, I still love the sound of these engines at WOT.

I honestly found neither of the videos to be impressive... :wtf2:

I've never seen the point in spending a bunch of money or work (time = money), to make something accelerate faster that, in the end, is still slower than a stock civic.

Civic Si 0-60 (1ft rollout) = 6.6s 1/4 = 15.1s is all the new civics run.. and I didn't spend that much, around $ 250 of the 500 it maybe cost me was just for two widebands. And this thing has ran down/ beat a done up 2013 300c 5.7, g8 gt (not the gxp), and some dumb a** who thought because he overboosted his newer jetta he could fly by me. I don't even bother with civics. The ones that have tried didn't do very well...maybe V-Tech didn't kick in lol.

My point is I didn't need to spend 3k, just make/ design a few things differently.

It's got dual 2.5" OD starights with a custom X-pipe, gotta love the X-pipe for sound and topend.

And no I was definitely not going down a hill and the car has more in it once I hook my rpm window switch that just came and have to pick up, then I can fix the 11.2 afrs, set vvt better ect.

So the turbo Q is slower than a stock Civic? I agree that there is no point in spending so much money in a car when you will never ever get it back anytime soon!

NAQ45 here is what saw from both video's:

You: 55.9234 MPH to 111.847M MPH in 12 seconds

Turbo Q: 55 MPH to 108 MPH in 9 seconds and 0 MPH to 110 in 14 seconds

In the end I think you did more harm than good to your car. I am not 100% sure but a stock Q of any year does not take 12 seconds to do 55-111. Again I am not sure.

I don't know how you're timing this but you're way off. 60mph-100mph the cars are the same. And there's no way in hell any stock civic would even come close to either of the cars boosted or N/A.

Seriously....you are attempting to "time" 2 different cars acceleration based off their speedometer readings? Really? Who says either speedometer is even close to accurate? Especially if they are using non standard size tires?

It's just a ball park of comparison. So his might be a little quicker, or mine might be a little quicker.
