i have this vibration noise. i used the rear half of my auto shaft i think thats why. its solid versus the rubber mounted 5 speed one. and im sure thats whats doing it. also i get the vibration at the same rpm.

Turns out, my vibration issue is probably due to slop in the VLSD. Hoping to get an s15 helical in the future to remedy.

I have the shaftmasters 1 piece alum. drive shaft in my S14 and I love it! I got great service and a super fast turn around when I ordered mine.

What are the chances that 94_240sx will fabricate some dust covers for S14's with the 1-piece aluminum driveshaft and put them up for sale on NICO?

thats weird. my rear is welded. there shouldnt be any slop. ill check that cause its annoying. for the longest time i thought it was my exhaust rubbing on something. did you ever fix yours?

I had an issue with the one on my coupe where there would be vibration while riding down gears (during deceleration). Other than that, it rocked, direct weight loss, increased acceleration etc...

I have a steel 1 piece from driveshaft shop. You get a better throttle response and it is lighter than a stock one. Break away launches are easier. You don't have to worry for the center bearing failure.

So here is my shaftmasters shaft installed. This thing is so lights, like everyone says. And I finally clamped down my e-cables so the new shaft won't slowly rip into them like the old one sometimes did.

Old shaft: You can see where it was making contact with the cables.

New shaft Black stuff is old transmission and PS oil. I have since replaced the transmission seal and leaky PS hoses and cleaned it up some(at least I hope it was the hoses leaking the fluid).

Where it meets the transmission: (I need a dust cover )

Your exhaust is scary close to the driveshaft.

It's a BRM, sold by AZhitman. It looks that way, but it is just the angle of the picture. No way it's that close. Wanna buy it? I wanna get the same one, but in a 3in. this is a 2.5in.

You can find anywhere that sells kitchen stuff. Try Walmart, Target...etc. I got mine from TJ Maxx.

Sorry, no.Just get one that will clear the joint. That's about it. Make sure to use s14 dust cover. It's much easier to fabricate.

I love driveshaft shop products. They built my axles on my 06 Tiburon turbo.Held me launching at 4,000 rpm without a hitch.Ran an 11.77 @ 116 with those axles.

O know it's not an answer to your question, but moreless a personal experience.
