Hey Guys, ive noticed allot of you guys want to upgrade your alternator but don't do it because of the bracket that needs to be fabricated, and some of the grinding involved. if i could provide a kit, that would eliminate all the fabrication, and basically all you had to do was slightly grind a little bit of the alternator casing, and bolt everything else on how many people would be intrested? and also how much would you be willing to spend.

I would include.New Adapter for tensionernew block spacer. and a new bolt for the adapter.

these kits can be made of both Steel or Aluminum.

they will be made here in SoCal, and will be Tig Welded, so full penetration is 100% guaranteed and it will look factory. what do you guys say?

how many of you would be interested?

well...don't ask us how much we'd pay. give us a price point and time line on availability not to mention some pics of said product and you'll prolly get alot more interest

that being said. i'd be interested. if you could do a kit cheap enough and fast enough i'd buy one right now seeing as my motor is torn apart for the next week and it would be perfect time for an upgrade

Pictures will be up this weekend, the car i did the kit on / test fitting is my friends car and he lives about 2 hours away,

I can start making the kits this following week and depending on the number of kits, ordered i can have them done in about 3 days. depending on the amount ordered.

as far as price goes im still trying to get a price on the hardware. to sum it up.

but it should be around $35 $50 at the very most.

it's all really on the hardware costs. finding a good price for grade 8 bolts. all the welding and cutting is done in house.

Hey guys, I will be shipping out a couple kits tomorrow and pics will be up soon also with evaluations, this should be for any RB, as far as i know these two kits are going into RB25's but they should fit any RB since they use the same alternator.

look forward to pics!

and yes this is for a 90's quest alternator

pics will be up as soon as my buddy gets his car back from the alarm shop or Robbie gets his installed. it's a rather simple design and it's being cut at the machine shop right now (the ones i shipped out today where hand cut) once i get them from machine shop (wed or thurs) I just gotta pack them in envelopes and ship out, tomorrow I'll take pics of the tensioner adapters. so you guys can get an idea of how clean this install will be.

also as far as grinding goes, the quest alternator will only need about 1/16" grinded down on the rear part where the bolt goes, the half that faces the block so it does not rub. (it'll bolt up without grinding but it will rub and not fit as nice)

Surprise Surprise Guys, got the aluminum spacers from the machine shop today, so I started welding up the Tensioner brackets here is a Teaser shot.

Basically all I gotta do is weld the nut on the tensioner bracket, Paint everything, and Put all the hardware in Baggies. here is a teaser.

The Final Cost of the Product will be 40$ shipped to your door (lower 48 states, it'll be 47.25 for oversea orders.)

So all you will need will be the 95 Nissan Quest Alternator, and a FWD SR20 Alternator Bolt. I'm having a hard time locating a bolt long enough locally to work with my kit, so the introductory kit will not have a bolt. the 2nd batch will include everything needed, but the price will be higher.

so for tomorrow I will have 26 Completed Kits, Can we get a list going? Paypal is [email protected] I'll start taking payments now, when the 26th bracket is purchased if im not online to post about them being sold out, I will refund you your money as soon as i log in again. any feedback will be greatly appreciated.
