holy hell man, this is what i needed.i'm in a effed up situation right now, and i literally have a serious option of just dropping a 350 in my dead s13 so i can get a job. lol so this stuff freaking rocks! i've been reading up on the oil pan clearances and wasn't sure i'd ever find a Nova II pan, and realy wanted a good view of how to mod the stock pan.... so... THANK YOU! the only other things i was worried about was the shifter... if it would go in the same place AND IT DOES! AGAIN... THANK YOU! and after that... a good view of custom made mounts. AND YOU DID THAT TOO... lol, i almost feel like i need to buy you a xmas gift now! lol... too bad for you i'm broke.

no problem, i made some new mounts also, i will post some pics when i get a chance, but it would have worked either way. oh and thanks for the christmas gift kinda oh by the way i dont know if you would be interested but i have a rev A oil pan that looks near identical to mine and could work fine with very little work. my cosin made it for me but i wanted to make my own. you can have it if you want it. let me know if you want a pic of it. i just would hate to waste it

thanks for all the support guys well here is a pic of my mesurements i used when fabing up my mounts dont know if it will help you. also note the depth of the pan at 4 inches to clear steering rack.

with this the passinger side motor mount would be 2 1/2" and driver side would be 2 "

i still need to clean this up lol
i am using a small cap HEI distributor

freakin sweet man. thanx.what all did you have to do to the crossmember. it doesn't look like you had to do much. someone was saying you have to cut out some on the front side. didn't look like you had to. and what type of mounts are those? are those just the 240 mounts? i'm trying to remember what the crossmember looks like stock, it's been a while. i can go take a look at mine though. are those the stock mounts or did you have to weld those in? btw: hope you don't mind.. i'm gonna have to save these pics for reference later. ;] i've had plenty of lessons in the school of hard knocks, it's okay to take cues now and then... gets you by better when you've only got one shot to make it right. again, i really really appreciate this thread, brother. thanx

Well I did not even touch the cross member (its a R33), not even to clean it lol. Also the mounts are solid rubber and I used it to just figure out the height. I will be making some new ones when it’s all ironed out. I would have had it all done yesterday but my brother in laws rb trans was acting up and had to rip it out.

ah no kidding. so the oil pan you made was made just for the r33 crossmember? or is the r33's similar enough to the 240's?i've heard that a NovaII's oilpan fits the 240 crossmember. nice heated garage btw.

R33 corssmembers are different the S13/S14 crossmembers, so his pan won't fit yours. The NovaII pan will work though. ....................................................................................................................... Are you going with a single turbo setup? I thinks a set of twins would LOOK awsome, albeit complicate everything. WD
