-i would just like to say all civic variants that are ment to be sporty are dam nice cars. an si/ type r/ mugen will man handle any 240. it will still be close on a track with a sr'ed 240. Honda knows how to tune a dam care and no one needs to forget that.

Can a moderator please lock this thread. The amount of bull**** and misinformation in this thread is mind boggling. The guy who said that SR stock internals are only good for 280-300rwhp obviously hasn't done enough research. SR internals can easily run happy at 300-400 rwhp, conservatively. Of course, the tuning is what makes or breaks any motor, and we can safely say that even the KA has been able to safely run north of the 400 mark on stock internals. That being said. This thread is full of **** and should be locked to hinder the spread of misinformation, as I seem to be allergic to stupidity.

I can't believe I just read through all of this.. That is time that I'll never get back. I now feel dumber for reading it.. lol I WAS planning on building my ka-t, but now I might just put in a honda motor.. lmao I'll even post pics.. that would be enough to keep you guys busy for months.. lol

Hahaha, this thread has actually been pretty entertaining. I definitely got a lot more than I bargained for. Sure there's been a fair amount of misinformation, but who cares...it's hilarious to see how people go about picking apart eachother's posts to try and discredit whoever's called them out. As for chemao, he seems to be the kind of guy who's friends love him but enemies absolutely hate him, as in often the case with cocky intelligent people my age. Actually reminds me of a buddy of mine to the "T" who incidentally drives a Dakkar Yellow M3. ca18detgabby has probably had the most exciting week of her life while this thread's lasted, and not to nit-pick, but it's easy to see why she's a tab bit flustered with chemao's anecdotes.

That would be awesome. It's been done before, though. I saw a video of some guys that put an S2000 motor in their 240. It looks like it belongs there, amazingly enough
