Hey I'm a noob and I'm interested in buying an s14. So I was looking at them on the internet and I came across something that I don't understand.
In this thread it is stated that the LE(that's the ONLY edition with leather right?) was only an option for the 97-98's. Well I saw an s14 on the internet that they say is a 96. But it has leather. So I thought, well maybe it's a typo and it's really a 97. But that can't be because it has the Zenki front and rear of the 96's.
Can someone explain?

I'm not too sure of the different specs on the S14 but maybe the owner got the seats from a 97 model...??? I have 180sx type x seats on my car (240sx).... Just playing the devil's advocate....

-your best bet to find a clean 92 240sx for a good deal would be to keep your eyes open for ones driving around or sitting in people's backyard. Many times these people just want to get rid of their car that they don't drive anymore, that's when you move in for the deal *edit: holy shyt I was replying to the first page lmao! that's what work 2 in the morning will do i guess..

Hey guys I am new to the 240SX scene.. I was just wondering about the legality of turbo'd KA engines. I know the SR20DET might pass the smog test with a high flow cat and close to stock tuned engine, but what about KA-T's?Thanks ( I have searched, but it seems to be unclear )

Hey everyone. Just wanted to do a quick intro and hello. This week is a great week for me. I have wanted a 240 for 10 years ever since I could drive and now that I have a real job and the finances to do it, I am about to start my dream project car. This week I go to pickup my 96 s14. Cant wait to get started.

im a kouki convert lol.... took my95 le and swaped the front added a full eibach suspension kit 
my weekly run to the tire shop
at my house
swap time.... both of my drift cars lol

This thread makes the mistake of not mentioning the LE model of the Zenki. I have a 1995 LE with a leather interior and everything mentioned under the LE model for the Kouki (with the exception of the foglights; I'm not sure if my bumper was replaced anyway). When I got my 240 I was also looking at another one very similar and it was an LE (1995 too). Said "LE" on the back and had the leather interior and everything. Then I saw the car that I'd eventually get and was led to believe it was a base 240SX until I checked up this thread (which is somewhat ironic cause this thread is inaccurate). It had all its emblems missing and I had to purchase them myself so I didn't realize until somewhat recently that it was an LE. But the point is, an LE model does in fact exist for the Zenki. This thread completely ignores it. I've been meaning to mention this for some time but never got down to it. I realize your post is from a year ago and also that your pictures do not work, but I can tell you that the car you were looking at was a 1996 240SX LE.

Hey, i Just got a 93 240sx se pretty much free, being the guy needed to get it out of his yard. I have been looking for one for a year or so but could never find one, so i kinda jumped on it. It runs and needs a new transmission and clutch, which he included. i was just wondering where a good place to start on working on it. like if you had no idea what has been previously done to it. Besides the tranny. Ive heard good things about this site, so Im hoping and open for suggestions.

got an sr'd 240 hatch. mostly suspension mods so far but its coming along.
still riding multi colored to be different or just cause i'm too broke and i keep braking aero.
i got a 2 way diff with tein coils and 255 rear tires.
picture me in the snow in the pic below. hahaha

Yeah.... So I'm going to have to say that these numbers are off by a significant amount. Not completely done running all the VINs through the software, but I can post 2792 verifiable US S14 VINs to tell you this 2178 number is off.Viewable shortly at " http://www.thezregistry.com/ " All will be ready with a GOOD 240SX convertible registry soon.
