Figred I'd add my car into the mix of images for front-end conversions. I never thought I'd go S14.5, I really didn't care much for it when I saw it before and really just wanted to stay Zenki or go Kouki. I got a good deal on a S15 front-end though and since my front-end was goofed up it was an opportune time.
Let me say that it isn't a minor modification, at least if you want OEM-like fitment. Plenty swap the front but they usually look like ****, poor fiberglass fenders, cheap bodywork and bad mounts all make for a chop swap that is commonplace. S14xman (I think that is his name) has a pretty good swap and there are a couple others too that actually spent time on theirs to get it right and it made me appreciate the concept of the swap seeing their cars.
Mine is done by using special fabricated front mounts; zenki fenders that were cut at the windshield down to the bumper and reshaped along the hood, headlamp and bumper; The bumper is an OEM S15 with the license plate frame removed and smoothed to the curvature of the bumper.
Using a S15 core support, reinforcement bar and headlamp brackets would offer the best fit IMO, although I feel my setup has about the best fitment you'll find on a Zenki S14.5 that is on par with using all OEM parts. Mending S14 and S15 OEM fenders would help to, but I personally preferred the zenki fenders being worked over as they flare out more overal and offer better wheel clearance than the S15's where just the wheel arch flares out.
