alright here goes my review of this exahust. i will cover the the purchace, shipping arrival, trials and tribulations, the install, and lastly the impression. if you dont like long threads written by someone who has ADD go read the ricer poll or somthing.

smooth purchace bought through ebay and pay pall, total about 150$ give or take. almost instantaly i recived an e mail telling me when the product was to be shiped, and also, when they would send me a tracking #. they get +1 for this

shipping; some sort of blunder caused the item to b shipped to my apartment instead of my mailing address. this posed a problem, due to the fact i live in the heart of hollywood(no area to work on car)also i have no tools in hollywood all at my parrents house in palmdale (about 70miles north of where i am) but beside that item came packed very well, and if i may say so my self over packed(about a mile of packing tape, an avelanche of packing pop corn, and not to mention the 5ft box it came in)

so now comes the day that i get to install this bad boy. so i load "everything" into my car and proceed to drive to palmdale. when i get there i realize that ive left the hardware and gasket kit at home(hollywood). so now im f*cked. 70 miles of high speed driving wasted, not to mention gas. now i have to tell my girlfriend how bad we ****ed up. but it was all good. i picked up my tools and headed back to hollywood full speed ahead, like a crazed animal.

install; ever install an exahust system at 2am in hollywood without a jack or jack stands and a limited supply of tools and my only apprentice is my girl friend (some girls dont know what a 14mm combo wrench looks like. meh) not the best situation to say the least. but ssautochrome made it easy every thing bolted togather almost flawlessly (just did test pipe last week no more rusted bolts(thank god)) although one hanger on the exahust dosent bolt up to any thing but no biggie i say its maybe a 3to5 difficulty bassed on one to ten

the impression; out of the box this system looks beautyful. nice high polish finish, looks like some sort of robotic welding device was used to fabricate this system :read: welds are perfect and it also has a very nice XSPower plaque on the 2 sections of pipe that come included on this system although u canot see them once installed on the car. this is an angled exahust system i did not know this when i orderd but very happy with this system. my only worry is that one of the pipes sits extremely close to the rear diff prolly ok right? sound and performance; the sound is awesome. sounds like a deep dark buble that progressively get louder and faster after about 4k but under this point with throtle control system is almost silent

so that was my review i hope everybody likes it and im always open for questions and critissim(spelled that wrong) and coming soon sound clips and pics

One question, does the 3 inch dual tip for the S14 fit a N/A KA? If so I'm sold. I've been doing some research and you can't beat the price for what you get.

So... any pics or sound clips yet?

Just effin' with ya. It looks good but it seems like it has more bends than other aftermarket systems.

It's a rip-off of the apex'i N1 duals, which isn't bad, Apex'i is set-up a bit better but for that price you can't complain.

sorry about the big picture, this is my apex'i and my stock sitting together

Edit: resized it

yes it is a rip off of APEX-i N1 dual, but built with higher quality materiel(full stainless). ive spoke to many people who have the real thing and they always say the piping after the canisters rusts out and becomes useless. to me 600$ rusty exahust=teh ghey full stainless steel high polish(150$)=teh sex not teh rust

awesome post, Koukimon!

I don't get the 2nd part of your title, but for some1 w/ ADD, that was pretty good writing... paragraphs n short-to-the-point thoughts

product looks great, made of stainless steel, fairly cheap for budget-minded cars that want an upgrade over stock, shipping/packing was decent...

I'm planning to get this next year when my inspection is due... I currently have a patch over my old HKS muffler as seen on here:

zerothread?id=146859

I have to use 2 5" hose clamps from Home Depot to hold that patch on afterwards... but works ok for now...

that can't be 3" the whole way, the single pipe up front and the twin pipes are two different sizes. not being critical, just curious which is right.

my guess is 3" up front and 2.5" twin pipes, which would still be equivilant to a 3.5" pipe.

I found that exhaust on ebay, but now it's over $460. haha... see what a little publicicty can do. If anyone has any links to auctions where it's still about $150, PLEASE post em, I couldn't find anything even close.

I'm really only in the market for a new muffler, but if I can get a whole stainless system for $150, then hell yeah.

I think these -vs- Real Apexi Duals, are the same. 3" inlet, split into 2 2.5" pipes. never heard them. Waiting for a audio post up.

threed, i hear if you want huge flames to shoot out of your exhaust you better stick with a single outlet with several jdm bends.

listen to me u f*ucking *******. i made this review for this community. i found a well made product, made from full stainless(not mild steel which is what APEX uses) with mild proformance for a good quality price. why do you have to **** on this GEO? is it becuase your car is an automatic? anyways do some reserch, type in apexn1dual into the the serch here on the board, and see for your self how many ****ty mild steel apex mufflers have rusted out. i cant spend 475$ on a peice of **** exashust that is going to rust out on me, i leave that to you, and for your retatded information the exahust is made my a company called XSpower. ssautochrome is just the retailer u stupid ****i*g pu**y. and by the way let me know when your JDM SUPPA TITE DRIFTZ 500 DOLLA MAKE U HOLLA APEX-i exahuast turns to iron oxide from the cainster back. ok. ok.

P.S. your negitvity is not needed here GEO take that to the civic board where that kind of childish behavior belongs(mind u im only 21)

by the way my exahuast has a lifetime LIFETIME WARRANTY apex offers none. next time just keep your stupid f*cking mouth shut
