 Hi everyone, I'm new here. I have a 2001 Max SE w/ 70K miles Auto. I have had my Max for about a year and I love it. The car is stock right now but will be doing some suspension work soon. I'll post some pics later....

Hello, I 'm new here with my 1995 maxima GXE, AT, 160 620 miles.
I have had my Max for more than a year now and I love it. The car is stock right now but will be doing some suspension work soon. I'll post more pics later....

'99 INFINITI I30 Limited (ain't that special?) with 149k +. "Like OMG! Totally Stock" obsidian black with tan leather interior. Daily driver, originally owned by a smoker. (Stupid biatch. Doesn't she know that's bad for my interior?) 
Got this for a song several months ago. No rust, no damage (cept scratches) runs OK. In process of troubleshooting ignition coil issues.

my 1989 Maxima SE 5speed VG30TT Twin Turbo and the color is factory satin pearl white and location is Athens, Alabama going to the dyno today the last engine was the vg30 sohc and turbo it was pushing 385fwhp and 400+tq at 18psi so maybe this one will be more

new to this site, just got my new 2009 Maxima SV Sport, Tuscan Sun with black leather. I am looking for exhaust and an intake. The only ones I have found so far are from Stillen.
This is my 4th Max and 12th Nissan. I just came back from a short life in the MINI world.

I got a couple questions for leeQX4. First off where did u get the clear markers for the front bumper cover. Also where did u get the bodykit from? And last thing could i take the same grill you have and put it on an 01 i30?

I have two codes that recently came up for a second time with in the past three months ....P1320 and P0306....they both point to a misfire in cylinder #6...i just changed the plug and and had new coils put on about a year ago...any thought on what to do?

Jantwane, Welcome to NICOclub. Check the wiring to the stock sub. Find the two wires that attach to it and make sure they are on tight. I just picked up an I35 myself this weekend, so I'm just starting to get familiar with it. But, if you need help finding things, let me know and I can take a look at mine and snap some pictures or something to help. If you can't fix yours, and want to buy a new one... Here's what I would do: I've always been a fan of the Infinity Basslink subwoofer. It's a 10" subwoofer with it's own amplifier built in. It's very compact (for a 10" sub) and can very easily be placed in the back of the trunk and not take up much of your space.

A few quick questions for you: What model year is your Max? Are you sure you used the correct spark plugs?
Did you check the gapping on the plugs before putting them in? Have you rechecked the connection from the wire harness to the coil pack on #6.. which is misfiring? Check the connector and make sure it's plugged in all the way. Check the little metal pins to make sure they aren't bent or broken. Check the coil pack itself. Frequently if they go bad, you'll see some discoloration from them burning themselves out. Make sure the black exterior is all uniform and not gray streaked in some areas. Check the little spring connections at the bottom of the coil pack by pulling off the rubber boot. Make sure that looks like it's actually touching the metal connector at the bottom of the coil. Do the same on the other side of the boot at the point it should touch the spark plug. If none of that helps.. buy a single new coil pack. Replace it and see if that is the cure. You can always return it if it's bad. Another thing to keep in mind is that by now, the wire harness might be getting a little frail. It's a 8 year old plus car now... so follow the wires and see if you find any cracking or pinching that might have harmed the electrical flow along the way.
