Maybe Greg did it so he would know what he has done so far and everything in bold, he still needs to get to... or something... I don't know.

DO we already know about the poster information under the avatar getting cut off in a short reply?

It only happens in a post without a sig.

Can the sidebar be made to be less intrusive? When viewing picture threads on a laptop (Resolution of 1280x800 for example), all the pictures are cutoff because the size of our posts is fixed and so is the position of the sidebar.

If you don't get what I'm saying, go to one of our old Photoshop contest pages.
october-photoshop-contest-win-t456213.html
Then play with the size of your browser, you'll see that the pictures get cutoff and we can't view the rest of the picture, no sidescrolling bar either...
In the previous Nico the sidebar would move out of the way for the posts and we could sidescroll to get to the sidebar if need be, now the sidebar is fixed to the right side of the page and cuts off the posts.

Just a thought, shouldn't the Links from the home page to the forums be the first thing fixed... Don't want to be deterring potential members :)

My pictures are cut off as well and I'm running 1280X1024...which isn't huge but the pics shouldn't be cut off.

Also, is their anyway that you can set it so it doesn't go to the in between screen that is only there for like a 2 or 3 seconds from entering a post to seeing it in the thread asking if you want to view your post?? It is just bother some and doesn't seem needed since it redirects you to your post in the thread anyway.

EDIT: Damn I keep thinking of more...Where is the SEARCH BUTTON??!?!?!? Without it what will the Noobs DO?!?!?

And another, I know it was mentioned before, but I've found other threads such as this where half way down the page the text is suddenly bolded for no apparent reason.

Things get bolded out of nowhere because unclosed bold tags in people's posts or signatures.

Can you also had a blank line between them? Names kinda blend in with the pic.

And also, when I use the "post reply" button, the little scrolling bar is useless(the one right next to the last reply posted) and occasionally the last reply will cover my preview post and post reply links or floats then reposition back with the rest of the replies.

I'm on IE8, right now at work.

On my home computer, Windows XP and FF, and the only thing I've had with that is NICO is really slow just loads and load and loads. No error 404, just loading of a blank page.

Images in signatures doesn't quite work for me and some others. Seems like only some people have this problem though. Keeps telling me my images can't be over 200 pixels high despite them being a mere 45 pix.

Exact BBcode is as follows:

The No Parking Section sub-forums being merged with General Chat was a bad idea IMO. It's confusing to look at and makes for more work to get to the thread I want, subsequently making the forum experience less pleasing.

Oh see I thought it had the opposite effect. It makes it less of a chore for me to check them as well as regular GenChat.

I think having set-up this way will give those subforums more traffic!!

they tried it once before with the old software and it was decided that it was quite annoying, so they did away with it. meh, if they're there, they're there, if they're gone, they're gone. don't matter to me much either way.

Agreed. It startled me for a second this morning, since I thought gen chat had disappeared momentarily (haven't had my coffee yet). But once I found everything, I think the new layout is acceptable. It'll probably get me to poke my head in the sub-formus a bit more.

Custom titles will come back, but they're not very high priority at the moment. We'll get to them once the important stuff is done. :)

Cool, I was just curious because it took me a good while to even notice.
Judging from my replacement of signature and avatar, nothing about my account (aside from posting ability) has been a high priority for me either.

Close your eyes.

WOOOO! Black theme! ;)

Seriously guys, thanks SO much for the feedback - this is helping a ton. The list is shrinking.

HOWEVER, please, please look through and see if your issue has already been brought up. If it has, it's on our list.

Bringing it up twice only confuses my pea brain. :)

We got a LOT accomplished last night. ObiWan is cranking on things today, Matt's pitching in, and Bex has been knocking out user permissions and password issues.

While you're waiting, UPDATE YOUR PROFILES! (I'm lookin' at you, frappy... ;) )

I think Rays brain is still frozen from when he rode around in his trans am with the top down this past winter.

As far as the site goes, great job!

This is a small thing, on some other sites I've seen a red corner to corner banner on a users avatar that says "online", might be nice to see when your posting if the member you're replying to in the thread is there.

Already discussed... removed for security reasons (plus it's a memory hog). :)

We had that the day the new software went up but it was removed due to privacy issues.

OK, so I assume from the rapid drop of this thread, that most of the stuff that needs fixing is getting better?

Hope so. We're tired. :)
