i like the clear amber strip rather than the "Iornman" style

will these actually fit an altima, or are they for another car?

im not going to heavily mod my car, so i just want something simple and stock looking.....nothing too fancy or flashy.....like i wouldnt mind the enclosures that we have now, just with projectors

yeah thats the point lol, to make them fit

but the ones in the pics are just to give a general idea to the companies that will make them for us if we ever find some. They are from another car btw.

thats why you should try to contact some of the one listed or find new ones

I emailed this company too; they made projectors for the 02-04 altima that looked great and weren't too $$$. Check them out: http://www.k2motor.com/4lhp-alt02jm-ks.html

nice! but I think that they get their lights from spec-D or from the same place spec-D does ( http://www.specdtuning.com/altima2.html ). but it's still good because we'll get their source

Id be willing to send in my headlights for the test, especially for a design of the ironman style dual halo projector housing. I think those look sick

sorry for the question ...i've been meaning to put some hids in my headlights but with the projectors, will i even need hids? or projectors are basically better? also, if they are to be massed produce, you buy em as a whole piece right? meaning the housing...and how would be the installation for this? is it by removing the bumper, or what? thx

Thanks. If Specdtuning were to do it I could possibly lend them my car for it, they're about 30 miles away from me.

mcheddadi hows about making a poll man. That way you can show them how many people are interested and if we get a lot of people, then they might bite. Who doesnt want more money right?

My vote goes to these (I'm not a big fan of the LED's or busyness of the others):

my favorite is this one

the other ones arnt just too busy but am i the only one that thinks they look weird? like i mean, we all like "smoked" lights but these ones are a black that just looks like black plastic that sticks out too much. i want smoked lights but i want a OEM look to them at the same time. these other lights look like cheap lights made in china that you would see on a ricer civic. they don't have that OEM look like this one

These i actually dont mind, but i want to make sure there are either TSX or S2000 projectors in whatever we eventually get.

Hello Mike, Just called our local Nissan dealership and they will be delivering a new set of Altima Coupe headlights to our shop today for me to R&D on. We can easily make a DIY CCFL or LED halo kit similar to the first picture you sent me. The projector retrofits on the other hand are not something we can make a DIY for. With our type of custom work, especially with retrofits its a low quantity, high quality type of project. We are already working on custom lights for several SEMA vehicles but if you have members that are also appearing we may be able to do something for them. I am a NICO member as well although I rarely have the chance to post. I am all over the Lexus boards but also have a Nissan (R33 GTR V-spec) in the garage. I will let you know what I come up with when I get the lights in hand! -Justin M. HartensteinAAC Enterprises LLC300 Jefferson Hwy. STE#805 New Orleans, LA 70121http://www.AACstyle.com1(800)407-5776

AWESOME!!! Seriously, I wouldn't mind paying for quality work. All of this is great!

a projector retro fit would be awesome, I don't think it would be too hard for them since we can just remove the lower portion of the altima's headlights and replace it with two projectors side by side. I'll go look for pics for what I'm talking about

someone on the "other" forum has an independent guy in NYC working on some projector retrofits. here is the guys website with some of his work...

http://hidillusionz.blogspot.com/

here is the post about the info on the retrofit....

"so i finally spoke about prices to Richard. Like i said hes an independant guy. Companies online charge about $400+ for retrofits. Hes about to start hes own stuff online as well. now he does retrofits, sells OEM hid gear, bulbs, projectors, etc. For me he will leave same price should many people decide to do retrofits with him. He mentioned he does many many retrofits with many forums on the web. Usually he has one guy per forum that gives out his props and get customers, since he cannot be in every single forum reading and posting. He asked if i liked i can be that guy here. Hes gonna send me pics of many of his work for me to post here. So price if you send everything to him. And when i mean everything:

2 headlights2 projectors2 shrouds/bezel if u bought it somewhere else.***he sells his own shrouds/bezels if u want to buy from him to use on ur retrofit***

$320.00

prices includes all labor to open headlights, install new projectors, align new projectors, paint ur interior (usually black) since black kills glare from projectors inside your headlights, re-seal headlights, and shipping back to you, 2-3 usps priority mail. designs of ur headlights and everything else you will discuss with him as he works on ur headlights. i remember when i did my first retrofit with him i paid about $400.00 since retrofits where rare and very few people where doing it. if u interested or want information PM me. After-wards i can forward his info to you so you may get in contact with him."

Since they say that they do low volume stuff, we could setup a group buy with 30 people or max 40 people , so it would still be low volume and they could get their stuff on the 2 altima coupes and the altima sedan car going to SEMA.

everybody wins, they get they massive coverage and we get our projector headlights we'd get a slight discount because of the groupbuy and super exclusivity like rob's custom kickplates.

30 or 40 does sound like a big number even if it's low in reality, but with our headlights it would be really easy to add twin projectors, check these pics out

you can separate the lens from the housing

so they just would have to separate the lower lenses and stick two projector there and make something to fill the hole around the projectors

well the 320 is basically for the labor. you provide and send him the projectors & bezels/shrouds along with the headlights. as for the bezel/shrouds....you can either buy them separately or buy from him. once youre ready you can start discussing with him if you plan to buy the bezels/shrouds somewhere else to make sure theyll fit. he has many shrouds/bezels and he even custom makes his own!!

PS.....heres a good source to buy a TSX projector kit.....shhh.....keep it quiet.

http://store.theretrofitsource...33175

it will probably come out to under $700 if you go through Richard. the guy on the "other" forum swears by him and his work as he has used Richard before.
