I was actually planning on going to that, but I'll be drifting Patriot Course on the 24th so not sure if I want to make back to back trips up there. They're also having a special deal, $10 gets you a ride-along in an atom for a few laps.

Chris, I will earn more than she did, as long as I work one extra shift a week. They do let us work some extra, but it's only if needed. There aren't always needs :/ I'm mostly concerned about her loss of benefits. She had great health insurance and retirement plans. Not to mention, I won't be able to work extra as an RN until about October (we have a 12 week orientation period). Anyway, it's all good. She might be able to go to grad school for free. The head of the grad program she is applying to wants to hire her as her new grad assistant. So, that'll give her a meager income, but more importantly, paid for school.

Tell her to start taking a multi-vitamin and drink plenty of water...lol. An apple a day won't hurt either. Healthcare is a rip, needed, but a rip none the motherfvcking less.

Retirement can be made up for in a multitude (note the use of a that multisylabic word first thing in the morning!!!) of ways. You should be saving 1 penny on the dollar as a minimum. Set it and forget it. You should aim for 15% but that's easier said then done.

I'll be sure to take pictures! I started sanding today, it's going to take a while. It's technically two colors, they are both OEM though...and might happen to be part of a certain color combination...

Panasport G7s are one of my favorite wheels.

That paint scheme is gonna look awesome!

Doodz, do most plate and fin coolers flow nicely?
I'm thinking about putting one on my turbo's water feed line and I don't want to restrict it that much.

There's so many different designs, I'm not sure which would be best.

For a simple water cooler you can use any standard design, bar plate or tube fin. Tube fin will be cheaper of course, but I prefer bar plate because you get about 35% better cooling in a smaller package. I would say that any bar plate cooler will flow similar. Might as well get a generic one imho. No sense playing the name game when you don't have to.

Here's a cheap one from Summit, $52

Not completely sure, the mounts might be the same.
It looks that way anyways.
All I know is the nipple for the overflow tank faces the opposite direction.

I'd take measurements of the mounts and stuff to make sure before taking anything apart.

I have a S13 Koyo in my S14 right now, the top bracket mounts don't align at all but the hoses and whatnot are good-to-go. To be honest I don't think I have any brackets attached on the top at all, just used some extra Efan mounting tie straps. The overflow like mentioned, wrong fugin way. I'm not afraid to shadetree something so....

So as you're looking at the gold set I can't help but think they look almost identical to my R32 Skyline wheels. Aside from the two tone and mine being one solid cast yada, I'm talking about basically the shape is ident. Got me thinking, I'm pretty good with painting, I could two tone my wheels to look something like those.

You should bolt a lip onto it. :chuckle:

Damn, I'd buy that right now if I had the money.

I should modify a heater core and use that as a cooler.

You laugh, most heater cores won't even need to hose gay little fittings on them as they already have some 3/4 inch push on type. Probably get them dirt cheap and the junkyard. Here's $24.99 shipped in good shape.

Haha I have an e30 heater core sitting on my back porch if you want it, probably easier for you to grab one from a junkyard though.

How foolish of me to think that there wasn't any bondo on my quarter panels. Weird thing is both quarters are like this, and it's literally the entire panel. All the way from the tail lights to the door has about a 1mm thick sheet of bondo. When I rolled/pulled them they got a little wavy, I'm surprised the filler didn't crack.

Sup Peep! Just wanted to let my people know about an interesting radiator setup I just found out about. I ordered an aluminum radiator on ebay, I was expecting some knock off with ugly welds, but I'm cheap so I can deal with ugly parts. To my suprise this is what showed up:

$115/shipped any where in the US complete with LIFETIME WARRANTY which includes their version of Allstate's "Accident Forgiveness". Hope someone else can take advantage of this deal.

That's a really good deal, weird how the ad didn't say Mishimoto, I would have thought you were getting a no-name radiator. I just recently used my lifetime warranty with Mishimoto, all I had to pay was $20 for shipping and a week later I had a brand new radiator. All you have to do is show them pictures of the damage and a picture of your serial number.
