Toyota owners are some elitist douches for the most part.

there's some good guys out there though.

Ford owners are generally open minded too, 'cept the occasional retarded 302 owner (most are dumb kids, the older guys know how to respect any ANY car).

Us SC guys, well, we respect other stuff because it's an uphill battle for these cars just like it is with the 4 bangers and FWD imports.

Most Chevy guys blow.

Mopar isn't that bad a crowd though.

Die hard Ford guys are ****in' crazy however, they'll do insane stuff to cars more then any other crowd I think I've seen.

We try to stay pretty laid back here. If I had one of the mentioned cars, I would take you up on the race. I would lose, but I would still try it.

Hey try the Honda guys. They will race anyone. Doesn't matter what mods you have done or the car they are done on. (Just joking Honda guys :D )

Question, why not go forced induction???

sure thing you guys...i'll post over in the honda forums. Anyone know a honda forum i should post on? I keep talking to those celica boys and i don't know why. I'll send you all the link. Tell me if you think i was out of line, but i thought i was being more than polite the ENTIRE time. anyways, also take notice that the head honcho on the site 00silvergts6spd has 183whp 134tq...i'm just curious/humored but i just barely less horsepower than him but almost 30 ft tq more and he thinks he'd leave me? Can someone elaborate on this for me? I mean, I had 136tq with basic bolt ons. Since dealing with my new numbers, doesn't that mean that IF his 5-10whp advantage played that much of a difference then he would be playing MAJOR catchup? http://www.newcelica.org/forum...79530

enjoy. Be as polite to them as you have been to me if you decide to post. Make me proud! lol -Kyle

actually, id say you'd give him a good run for his money.i dunno who'd win but you'd probably scare him. those celicas weigh nothing, but you have your car down to amost nothing too, i mean, you're close to stock CRX weight. the torque would really give you an advantage in the launch and initial take off speed. that would be a good race to see. i would love to see one of those elitest celica guys get their butts handed to them.

BTW, whats your email address, i think i have the vid saved on my PC ;)

AHAHA, i just re-read the celica boards and that 03 Corolla owner thinks his car is the ****. i've ridden in an 03 corolla. they're not fast. i'd really like to see if he really beat a ZX2. stock ZX2 arent too slow. i'd love to give him a run to show him his family car is slow. that and he thinks he got a 10hp increase from a CAI.

I fully plan on it. I did just get someone with a 2004 GT eclipse to take me up on the offer. All he has is a short shifter and intake. Those cars weight 3000 lbs! He dynoed at 175whp 181tq

i thought they only made like 210hp and 140ft/lbs of torque.... hmm, maybe i had my numbers wrong. and i thought they weighed more than that too. oh well, guess i wont mess with one on the highway or anything now.

The eclipse V6 makes decent torque.

I'm really impressed by your ZX2. Nice work!

thank you very much for the compliment. If you guys are ever strolling around on clubci.com Take a look under the Si vs. all at my offer to them, and see how much more immature they act than this fine group here. -Kyle

Eclipse V6 has the sohc version of the 6g72, they bumped it up from 180 crank hp to 210 crank hp, and it weighs about as much as an na 3000gt. I beat a supercoupe the other night (but then again I should have ~200fwp), I see no reason why the eclipse wouldn't keep up.

Now against the zx2? You will own him. The car is as heavy as a tank, and the sohc 6g72 just isn't all that great.

edit: on a side note: James, your sig is hilarious.

So good sir would you accept challenges from less than stock 240's? I mean not me my car is stock as can be. Also I assume you want a drag race. You should make a challenge at an autocross. That would be cool.

EDIT: Honda forum hurt head. Not think right need booze.

I'm still flabergasted about how awesome you guys are over here! Not one flame, not one! I swear check out the racing sections (x vs. x, racing stories, tales from the road, etc) from these sites.

NewCelica.orgclubsi.comeclipseforums.org

I'll send more as the flaming continues. lol. Please let me know if i was ever anything but polite in all my posts...i don't want anyone to get the wrong impression at all. Call me crazy, but no matter how polite i can be...them honda boys are still going to present themselves in a manner only fit for a correctional facility. -Kyle

Its not that hard. Check out all the stuff thats in the ford catalog for ZX2's. Big a$$ intake manifolds, injectors, yada yada.

There is SO much aftermarket support for that car it makes me kinda jealous.

well 2BN_S13...99% of the parts in the Ford RAcing CAtalog do not fit the ZX2 even though it says they will. The intake manifold you were referring do requires custom maching to fit. Most of the parts require custom parts to make it work. And sadly, no...i haven't booked any nissan races yet...no one has really stepped forward as of yet. -Kyle
