Sucks that I moved to hawaii or i'd be helping you out. I moved from apollo beach about a month ago. Did you go to east bay? Never saw your 240 before or your prelude. ok so i got my new exhaust mani from enjuku and rebuilt the exhaust side of the motor. decided to drop the engine in. it was a pain cuz i dont have a rolling jack and none of my freinds were home but everything worked out.

man i wish =/ i was running that car completely stock, spendin all my money on weed. brandon lives in summerfield but i dont think he ever went to the meets. You know a kid name Drew with a white s14 kouki? He lives in riverview too, used to party with him and his friends a lot before i moved.

yea i know exactly who your talkin about, i just met him last week at the wednesday night meet in front of sports authority off causeway. the drop whent well it just took me a lot longer than it should because i have very little tools. the whole swap has been done with a set of open ended walmart wrenches, a hlaf inch drive torque wrench and some deepwell impact sockets. lol

i NEVER work on my car while under the influence tho. last time i did it i installed the intake mani and left the little paper towels in the holes on the side of the head. i whent back and fixed it ofcourse

thats most likely the case. i cleaned it out with bb's and gas and all you have to do is roll it around and the bb's take the rust off but id really like to get a decently clean one. my friend wrecked at cfrc a few weeks ago. he hit the wall of the bank going like 70 and messed up his whole core support and bent the frame a bit. he might let me have his tank if he scraps the car

so i was keeping my ka24e transmission at my freinds house and i just found out he sold it...i dont really care about the trans but im pretty usre i need the ka speedo sensor to put in my sr transmission that was on the ka transmission. can anyone confrim this? will the sr speedo read out in kph?

i got a new tank from my freind today FO FREE. so i put that in and installed my walbro.

also got my front mount, rad, fans, bov and downpipe. ill have pics up when i can find some batteries

put everything in today. soulda taken pics of the stuff before i put everything in but i was too excited to run out and get batteries.



ran into another problem with the wiring cuz im an idiot. the plug under my dash is brown and the one i spliced on is white. im trying to just depin the white and brown and match up colors to the male plug on the engine harness but i cant seem to find something that will fit in the little tab that releases the pin. i guess thats what i get for assuming they would be the same plug because they are both the same year chassy.

edit: forgot to say i took the harness from my parts car. same year chassy as my project car, thats why i thought it would work. the plug im talkin about is the one right after the ecu plug that plugs up under the dash.

xavier that guide is exactly what i used. what they dont tell you is that sometime during 1990 they changed the plug from brown to white. i have 2 1990 cars but the one that i took the harness from has white and my car with the sr has a brown....thus i need a brown or i can depin it but thats a huge pain. my goal is no dash removal cuz im lazy lol

remove the panel that covers the inside part of the hatch. if you reach your hand back there you can feel 2 8mm nuts. just unscrew them and the black liner around the light will push out through the outside of the hatch and you can slowly pull the light assemply out cuz it has nasty sticky black stuff holding it in. the side lights you just remove the paneling in the back of the hatch, unplug the lights and there are a crapload of small 8mm's holding them in. again push firmly on the light cuz it has that black sealent on it
