^nice pic nuts man. It always amazes me that the s13 looks bigger then a s14 when side by side, but i always think my car would be bigger then a s13.

i need new tension rods as i just bent the screw outta my stock ones today. At first i was gonna go kazama then a guy suggested i look at the peak performance ones and they definitly looked higher quailty and the aurora rod ends are supposed to be really really nice. As i need them kind of fast a guy on zilvia showed me that he has some kazama and battle version ones and i noticed the bv ones looked very simalar to the peak ones. Anyway i was wondering if you had experience with any of them and if so which one would you suggest. I know you drive on alot of jdm parts thats why i figured i would ask you.Thankssorry brian i like it

I have always used Battle Version suspension arms. I bent one of the tension rods, but that was because I broke a coilover in half, so the weight of the car went right to the tension rod and lower control arm and bent them both.

I got new battle Version ones after that.

I actually just got a set of Parts Shop MAX ones for my new car.

Peak Performance - never had their parts. never will.

Kazama - seems to be the same as CUSCO. I would not have a single bit of doubt or worry about them.

I'd actually suggest Battle Version to you.Alex P. is here in California and VERY helpful with anything you need.

^well thats great he is there with you but i live in ohio lmao. Whats wrong with peak? they seem to have really nice parts. Ill proll go battle version then the kazama ones have a good rep but honestly look the same as every other jdm standard tension rod.

I think Peak is a USA company. I don't know anything about them. I noticed many Formual D cars with the sticker, so that definitly made me not even want to think of considering the name.

It doesn't matter if you are in Ohio. Email / phone works no matter where you are.

Cusco / kazama is one of the BEST suspension arms I have seen in the last 5 years.

^if formula d cars are running em whats wrong with that? also i think us comps can make some dec parts if they are truely trying to.edit: once again bustin jooo nuts with the ohio thing. The way you worded made it sound like you thought i was in cali.

I see 9 out of 10 FD cars and want to kill myself.

Anyways dude, I don't want to go into it anymore.I'm pretty set in my ways.

I suggest Battle Version as first choice.

I hope you enjoy.

Man... This is just amazing. I wish I could do that. Imagine the sound of the engine roaring throughout the warehouse, tires squealing....

I wasn't sure if I checked in yet in this thread so I went through the whole thing, which took a few hours (of fun!). I found out I didn't so here we go:

Yes, she's a very slow work in progress. She's all stock right now except for an AEM intake and Apex'i N1 exhaust. All I've done so far is attach all the emblems to the car (bought it with none of them on it). Right now it's winter and I don't have the money anyway so I can't do much, but my plans for her are:

-new paint (black) - I was really contemplating between white and black for a while but I've finally settled on black (after previously settling on white)-18" wheels/tires (thinking 350Z wheels right now, straight 6 spoke)-Navan front grill-coilovers/lowering springs-Z32/Q35 brakes
