I would love to show proof but all of that info was in the garage. I have learned many valuable lessons since the fire but a detached garage is number one if it wasn't i would not be living in my house still. n e way just checkin in :dblthumb:

and on the last note scotty my car was "on the road" but full race not streetable either not in any means. i only did it to irratate a couple friends here in NY, because it was a 95 theirs were 96's and had to pass emissions, CEL, and IM readiness tests.
Good answer. #1, glad you're still here and not victim to the fire. #2, I am truly sorry for your loss, and again glad it's not you (or anyone else). In any case, back to the show ....

to come to that guys defense, i must say, power levels ARE all in the tune and parts used....

case in point, i have a R32 GTR, my buddy has a R32 GTST with a RB28 (stroked etc etc) and a lot more mods... we basically have similar set ups, RB26's, big single top mounts, external wastegates etc etc, his parts list is more extensive than mine, but similar none the less...

my car was tuned and made just under 400whp @ 12.5/13psi, while his car made over 500 at 14psi... now i don't know about you guys, but that's a SUBSTANTIAL difference for just 1psi of boost. both cars were tuned by different tuners, mine by a guy who's tuned maybe 4-5 AEM EMS's, his car tuned by a guy who helped DEVELOP the AEM EMS for the RB26, and was a tuner for the AEM Race team...

so get off the guys nuts, not all tunes and motors are created equal, and just because your mail order "ballpark" tune isn't as good as a custom tune, is no reason to cry "you're lying!!!!".

not really my place to post here in the Zenki check in, although i have many times when i had my 240's and i'm a die hard S14 Zenki guy, but i just graduated to the a R32 GTR, but i still lurk where my love is....

oh, and for the record, my last black zenki made 260whp @ 7psi, that's damn near 100 more whp than stock, build it right, tune it right, get good numbers....

that is all.

nobody was calling him a lier.. I simply wanted to hear what his setup was. he didnt wanna tell me, so i guessed. and your story about your gtr and your buddies gtst, its not really comparable.. but your zenki that made 260 at 7 psi... that is comparable. and i never said it was impossible to make almost another 100HP at that same 7psi, but wanted to know how he got there..

i drove a r33 gtr the other day... it was the tommy kaira edition.. SO SICK

my story about the skylines ARE similar... he has a R33 RB26 with a big single, pretty much stock block, mild head work, i have a R34 VspecII RB26 with a big single, pretty much stock block... and due to the difference in tuners, and they way he built his motor, he's making over 100HP than i am with "pretty" much the same set up...

even his tuner said "WTF? you should be making more than 500whp with your set up that you're making just under 400 with now" and went to rattle off about boost compensation curves, timing and fuel maps, latencies and K values...

just saying, that 60% (rough guesstimate, so don't call me out on percentages..), of your power made, is ALL in the tuning....

and yes, my R32 with 34 motor is retard sick... skylines in general (the GTR's anyways), are all a blast to drive.... i could only imagine a TK edition, prob making what" 450ish wheel?

i dont know what the power was. i thought (this is just an idea) it was 375 crank hp at 1 bar. but my friend that owns it says it has a boost controller and the other setting is at 30psi...... so ya probably around there on that psi...

Last time I posted in this thread (ages ago), my Zenki was completely stock. Here's some updated pics of it with the latest exterior change (limo tint on the rear window/side windows in the back).

even though my car has nothing done to it, is far from behind drivable, and probably wont be for a long time....im checkin in :)

its a 95 with around 175k miles, paid just $600 for it. needs a good bit of work, but its not a DD so it should be a fun project. its also gonna be my first build. ive worked on other cars before and all, but never had a project this extensive before so im hoping its a good learning experience. if i ever get it going that is

finally lowered the damn thing...and if anyone is planning on doing a full z32 brake swap, a 1 1/16 bmc with an s14 auto brake booster feels great...not too stiff or anything. oh and be sure to swap the reservoirs so you don't have to mess with splicing wires.

should be getting my zenki next week so i will post asap. its gonna need a new front corner headlights, and both fenders.
But is it weird that i like the zenki look better the kouki ? i like the fact that it does not grab as much attention as a kouki or any other cool sports car. as yall can tell i am big fan of the sleeper look.
