These are the photos the previous owner had taken of the car. Personally haven't felt like taking any new photos of the car until a bunch of things are addressed on it Love the car, but the car needs a bit of work here and there. New to the forums (yay 1 post count now) and glad to finally have a 240sx. Have been lurking on here reading for weeks now, I'm sure I'll be asking you all some questions about things some time soon. For now I've got a small laundry list of things to fix/replace :/

Car has 220Kish miles, 5-speed, SE model with leather interior and sunroof. Mostly stock except for eibach lowering springs(on BLOWN STOCK struts), z32 front brakes, front strut brace, and a really crap short throw. Where's the best place to buy a b&m?

EDIT:Oh if the paint looks different on the some of the panels, that's because it is. It looks like maaco or earl scheib had resprayed parts of, or the entire car at some point and there is single stage paint on most of it. Other areas of it have oem paint, and yet others have new 2 stage paint. It's interesting.

mine has on the front and back and it has overspray and they didnt use a flex agent in the paint so its all peeling. and it was from a steelership no less. cant wait till i get new bumpers and that dent in back taken care of. my car will look so much better to me.

Yeah I've pretty much determined I have excessive wheel hop, lmao. It's pretty bad, if I give a little too much gas it feels like the back end of the car is dancing. The tires aren't even that grippy of rubber either. I'm used to tires just spinning... I have an srt-4 still until the 240sx is in good enough shape to have as a daily (mechanically the car is fine, just not ready for it to be a daily) and the srt-4 has never hopped really, I don't have solid mounts or anything either, it just spins... Heh torque steer FTL.

Some of my list of things to fix:New interior door cup(pull door shut with this) both sides.New stereo surround trim, unless I can some how manage to fix it... it's pretty bad.Leak in oil pan. (ultra grey permatex waiting to be applied, pan waiting to be dropped)Power steering leak. Buying a used pump to rebuild on monday, rebuild kit coming in the mail, new HIGH pressure hose from autozone.Rear speakers blown, new ones coming.Stereo that was in the car was annoying(I dont like pioneer decks) New one wired and works yayAmp bypass was just done, those wires could have had more slack!Struts are blown... debating whether to save for coils or to just get struts to go with the eibachs.350z wheels in my near future, need tires and new paint on them though.New shifter as mentioned above...

That's just some of fun to look forward, just SOME. Once those are done, the rest of it is going to be replacing/fixing various parts of the car that dont need immediate addressing, but should be overhauled.

I hadn't ever realized how much suspension makes a difference with things like that. I've never really changed any suspension components on any cars i've owned yet, because I've always been content with what they came with. Obviously the srt-4 already has somewhat better susp. than a regular neon, but this blown suspension really just won't do. LOL

What coils did you have previously? How was the ride quality etc? Eventual goal of the car is to be ka-t, but that's probably years in the making and I will never drift, at the most autocross or road-race.

The engine has plenty enough of grunt for now, have to say it's a torquey beast. Was surpsied driving it home and around on the freeways in town. Accelerates with ease. There are no notable power mods done either. I've been in situations where I could have been driving a 240 a long time ago, not sure why I never tried to get into one. Driving it's nice, and being lower is nice too, but really different.

ha.i had Megan Tracksthey were nice.but stiff.had them for a little over a yearwith no problems.

i beat on them.

but i wont go megans this route tho... (unless someone wants to sell me a used set for 400 bucks)

i plan on going Stance.

as far as coils for you.just research the different brands and how people like themtry to ride in 240s with certain coilsthat will help you make your decision alot easier.

i don't think that's necessarily true. my car i'm sure it's OEM paint and i'm pretty sure that part is painted also. and that green zenki sure don't look like it's repainted. i'll check my car tomorrow but i'm pretty sure zenkis come like that...unless some1 wants to prove me wrong.

Looks good...

What diff did you go with? Also, is that a different car or did you have it repainted?

i sold the green one while in jersey to pick this up, in much better shape. The diff is s15 hlsd again, i really liked it on my s13. My rear end clunks quite a bit perhaps due to the solid subframe bushings that amplify the backlash

That's the previous owners car, he said it was a built up KA-T and put down a lot of power. He wrecked it, bought this car but then didn't want to do all the swapping of parts over. He did a few things like the 300zx front brake calipers, strut brace and a few other odds and ends. Cool guy, said I could buy stuff off of it, he never sent me the "list" of stuff for sale that was on it though :/

What's up peeps. This is my first post here, I just joined, but I wanted to share a pic or two of the Zenki I just picked up last week. I wasn't planning on a 240 purchase, I was looking for a Civic/Integra/Prelude DD, but I found this very clean S14 for sale up the road from me and found it very hard to pass up.

I'm not a fan of the wheels at all (ICWs), but I plan on changing them out eventually for some decent 17s and doing some suspension work to make it a fun DD.

Hey kamikaze sweet stance man.. quick questions, what coilover? How stiff is it? and do your tires rub on the fender frame underneath the front?
