Door Sills sounds sweet. I always thought about those door sills with letters "Z" in the middle with glossy coat on it. do you have picture??

I agree 110% , a Zx forum beats the hell out of a "me" forum any day , any time. Thanks for the responses guys , both good and not interested...all I needed to know. I will still be around after these are produced along with about 8 other forums thanks to JOHN.

Yeah the lenses look like a good idea! I would probably go for it depending on the cost. Add me to your list of interest for the lenses! I'd like to see those available in the near future!

I have a question though. I've noticed with a lot of other plastic based lenses on other cars that over time they get a opaque cloudy yellow tint to them like cataracts on a senior citizen. Do you see this happening with these lenses?

Andy won't be setting any prices til after he recieves the first batch run. At that point he'll know exactly what the overall cost is and then be able to set a reasonable price.That won't happen til after he recieves them which isn't anticipated for another 2 to 3 weeks minimum. I don't believe he'll take pre-orders either based upon the previous known info.Like what's mentioned numerous times above, this is just a thread to ascertain the interest level. Those indicating an interest will give Andy a reference point as to how the future of this project evolves.

dozug had to come to 3ZC for an update. Sorry Guys , been kinda busy and the owner of the lot gets upset if he catches me on the forums. The 3D Drawings got done yesterday and are on the way to the machinist for the injection molds to be cut. Then back to the plant to run a couple of samples. Normally it takes 60-75 days from conception to product...this has been going on since around Feb 22 , I think. Andy

3D Drawings , and Model on plane tonight with courior (spellchk). Molds should be ready in next 48-72 hrs. I'm getting very anxious about this but everything still on track.

Have a member at 300ZX Club working on the CAD , 3D Models as I type. Jscherewan ( Crown Spelling) is sending me a perfect set of inserts to help the Modelling along....still waiting on a real good set of JSPECs from '99 to complete the package. I'll keep you updated.

Looks good although I think the bottom horizontal runner for the high beam (rectangular) should be sitting lower. What you've got there is fairly similar to the 99 Spec (JDM Xenon) inserts.Here's the ones I'm sending to Andy;

Should be getting an email tonight on the progress , hopefully in another week or two I will have them in North Georgia. The 3D Models are done and have been given to the fabricator for the cutting of the molds. The time period for cutting the injection molds is what I am expecting tonight. Final price is not yet available,,,sorry

The Injection molds being cut right now and tomorrow , then flying them to the manufacturing company...should not be much longer. I'm am hoping by the middle of April to have them ready.

Update. The lenses made it to the factory late Monday evening , just waiting on our turn in the assembly process. My partner will be on a conference video hookup tonight with the plant owner getting the rest of the details. He speaks the language , I don't . I hope to let everyone know tomorrow of the expected date and cost. Thanks for your patience , Andy

I cant either luie....should have some feedback from the manufacturer tomorrow or monday. Waiting on some minister of something to ok production One set has been made and he has to ok the rest..weird but that is how things work overseas. Thanks, Andy

Andy should be getting the first preliminary batch of 5 sets within a week. More info should be available at that time.
