1) YouTube "Leanback"
- This brings you full screen videos with 4 button layout to navigate. It gives you different videos to watch based on your settings and history (which videos you thumbs up or comment on).
The four buttons used are up, down, left, right. Youtube wanted to turn viewing videos from a lean forward experience (keyboard + mouse) to a lean back experience with a minimalistic structure while using the fewest buttons possible. I love the idea especially as more and more TVs start getting Youtube widgets.

2) YouTube now supports 4k resolution
- As of now most TVs can run at 1080p resolution. That results in a 1920x1080 pixels (when using a 16:9 ratio), but with 4k support, the amount of pixels on a screen now becomes 4 times larger at 4096 x 2304 pixels (using a 16:9 aspect ratio). Essentially 4k is 2304p and you can stream it on YouTube. 4k projectors are mostly used in movie theaters and 4k TVs can cost in the neighborhood of $70,000.

Question:
I tried streaming the 4k videos and it is super choppy for me. I have the bandwidth but for some reason the activity on my GPU is near 0% so I am thinking my processor is doing all the work. Also I have tried Chrome and Foxfire (doubt it make any difference). Any suggestions?
