When I was on my Deutsche Bahn Bier Tour, I started drinking around 8am. Warm beer was actually pretty good for breakfast.(heres beer #2 I beleive)BTW, that is the BEST cheap beer I've ever had. 25 cents per bottle. The pils was 22 cents per bottle. I killed over a case that day. My friend hurled in the Bodensee. He also pissed in a trash can in Ulm.There he is about an hour before hurling... We're all stone cold hammered at what appears to be 1:30 in the afternoon.

It got tough to drink the warm beers towards the end of the day, especially cos it was a hot summer day out.

Dude, one of my best friends took a shizzo ON the train tracks in Alsheim one night. We got stuck on the pad because we missed the last train back to my other buddy's place and had to sit there all damned night. Pretty funny in retrospect.

Corona is my reliable beer. I can trust it to be almost anywhere I intend to drink. But anytime I can find it, Fat Tire is my choice. turns out they started bottling it somewhat recently. I even bought some at Costco once. Seems to be the first beer emptied from the cooler if I bring it to parties as well...

-- They have been bottling Fat Tire for at least 7 years, and that's just from what I can remember, prolly more. They just don't have a good distribution, so you probably just haven't seen it until recently. My buddy used to make a killing selling it in the parking lot at concerts down south. I've seen him sell 15 cases in like 3 or 4 hours, do the math, you can get 'em here for like 22.50 per case and he was selling them for 1 for $3, 2 for $5, pretty good payday. You could'nt buy the stuff down there back then so everyone wanted it. Same as how people used to go to Colorado for Coors like thirty years ago. lol.

Haha. Everytime we go on Spring Break to CO, 5 or 6 kids buy three or four cases of Fat Tire and bring it back to Ann Arbor.

Pretty good stuff. The smell of it instantly reminds me of hitting the slopes.

Sort of. Sometimes.

Technically, at least in any state I've ever been to, any beer that falls over a certain alcohol content (usually 9%) is classified as "Malt Liquor" and is not available for distribution at normal beer stores.

I remember that in Pittsburgh, if I wanted to buy Erie Railbender, I had to go get it at a liquor store, because it was legally "malt liquor" and not "beer" in the eyes of the law.

I'm not sure about all states though, and I'm not sure how PA regards this stuff anymore.

PA has retarded rules for buying beer and booze. Having to go to two seperate stores to buy beer and wine is absolutely stupid. Good thing it's 08 for fvcks sake...time for a little change I'd say.

I can buy Soco and almost any beer I want at Walmart in AZ and TX.

-- That liquor/beer seperation BS seeems common South and East of here, I remember dealing with that last time I was in Tennessee, and Fla too, I think. Walmart doesn't have booze in STL, but a liquor store will carry both as will any supermarket or gas station.

Atleast in FL and most other states you can get booze and beer in one place. I kind of understand the not selling booze at a gas station...but I think every state should at least be able to carry beer at the various shopettes.

I also just moved here BTW...AND I found a big package store 3 mins up the road the other day. Win win for me...I'll be browsing this weekend for sure.

in RI, the only place you can get anything with any alcohol in it (besides a bar), is at a liquor store. No beer is sold in any gas stations, or any supermarkets, or anything like that. They close at 6pm on sundays, and 10pm on other days. Kinda sucks.

I had to take a train to one of the first parties I went to in Germany (a friend that had been in America through it). It was about 2 miles away from the train station, and about a 40 minute train ride from my town. We got pretty sauced on the train, and absolutely BOMBED at the party. By the time we rallied all the troops, we had to RUN back to the train station to catch the first train back (at like 430am). I literally ran up to it and touched it as it was pulling away. The next train came in like, an hour and a half, so I passed out on a bench with a beer in my pocket. I woke up, and my beer was gone All my friends were passed out too. Nobody shat on the tracks though. I dunno where you were, but bathrooms are accessable in all trains and all train stations in Germany...

Man, we were not at a train station. That's my point. We were stuck on a PAD (no building) in tinyass Alsheim, Germany for a good portion of the night. Not much fun at the time, but oh the memories.

ahh gotcha. I was at one of those once. I got on the wrong train once (same train number... differenlt location), and ended up at one of those. I always hated explaining to the train people that you messed up, and don't want to pay for a train ticket, and you promise you'll get off at the next stop. They get all offended and ****.

I usually drink Yuengling or Blue Moon.

I recently found a beer called Sea Dog Blueberry Wheat Ale. It's from a Microbrewery in Maine. It's hard to find, but it is very good. Their Raspberry Ale is good too.

Pennsylvania is the same way. Liquor and Wine in state-owned "Wine & Spirits" stores ONLY.

Full cases of beer at private beer distributors.

You can get 6 or 12 packs of beer at bars, pizza places, or some convenient stores.

It would be nice if it would be one stop shopping for all alcohol needs!

Landshark is decent but tastes just like Corona. Not my favorite at all BTW. Any beer brewed by Jimmy Buffet can't be that great. I can't say Jimmy and I have similar tastes in anything...
