my first car was a mitsubishi eclipse, and i put KYB AGX struts all the way around with Eibach pro kit springs and suspension techniques swaybars. Enkei rpo-1 rims. under the hood i had 9.5:1 pistons, Blitz FMIC, HKS turbo timer and boost controller, venom injectors, venom intake manifold and lightweight pullys.

My first car was a 1995 nissan 240sx. It was nissan concord grey color, which was a dark purple. My moms sister, had a friend that was selling a car in great condition, had just over 40 k, and gave it to me at a good deal. My dad told me it was a good car, and would run a long time. I knew nothing about the car when i got it. Well that was 3 years ago, i started modding that one, but i was in an accident with a drunk driver. So the insurance money from that helped me by the red 95 240 i have now.

Heh, i think its funny, i got a 240 not knowing anything about it, and now its my favorite sports car for the money.

I don't have a car yet.... but here's how I got into cars:

About two years ago, I decided to learn how engines work, so as I was searching, i stumbled across the automotive section in howstuffworks.com. After reading and rereading, I started reading about old muscle cars, and bought a book. While searching for muscle cars, I then stumbled across http://www.j-body.org . It's a site for cavaliers/sunfires and has been the best site for me in learning about cars(and about life). For the longest time i was so excited about wanting a cavalier. Then one day, I realized that I only knew about cavaliers, and not about any other car. So I searched about other cars, and found the 240sx. I realized that these cars have much more potential than the cavalier.... so I'll stick with this one. :)

Haha, my first car is the 240sx. I have been driving it for about 3 months now. I am still only 17, so year. Only mod so far I have done is put the intake in. lol, I am going to save up a huge amount sum this winter going into spring. Then let the games begin. Reason I choose the 240sx, is beacsue of its rare being and the mass amount of parts for it. I got some plans for this sucka.

I'm 21 now and have had 5 cars so far all japenese. My first car when I was 15 was a 89 Subaru XT. it was only made for a few years and was a big flop. It was supposed to be a sports car but was slow as hell and looked like a retarded late 80s prelude. After that I had a 93 240 coupe in immaculate condition, only mods were intake and exhaust. I had to sell cuz I needed money (biggest mistake I ever made, I'd do anything to have that car back), then I bought an 84 prelude beater for 300 bucks, ran great though, no mods, after that I had a 91 integra, nice engine, decent power, but I was getting sick of FWD and missed my 240 to death. So about amonth ago, sold my Integra, bought my 92 240 hatch and am absolutely obsessed again! This is the car I was meant to have and I plan on having it for a LONG time!:)

my first car was a 91 civic dx when i as 16 yrs old, well actually i have a twin brother so it was actually both our car. it was the car that we learned on ( you know doing all the cheesy upgrades, like heat the springs to lower the the car, etc),learning how to drive stick, speed shifting....the car was more for 1/4 mile. it was a very good learning car.

after that my bro got a 92 integra black and then 6 months later i got a 93 integra white, now this was the car that we did right (it was my favorite car) then i got into an accident, then got a 94 auto integra (hated it) after about two years i got into another accident (it was totalled again)

now i have the car i alway wanted a 95 240sx se....and i love this car so much.....i've always been driving front wheel drive cars and man, there's is nothing like driving a rear wheel drive car. it's just so much more fun to drive....

mine was a '91 V6 camaro - i pretty much had no interest in cars until my mom gave it to me, and i traded it keys for keys on a '93 eclipse. Even though the eclipse was slow, it was what got me into cars, and after i wrecked her I bought my 240, which introduced me to NICO which has been prolly my greatest resource for knowledge. After i blew up my KA, i sold her to Nathan and went out and bought my '86 turbo Z and I recently bought a '87 200SX for a daily driver - good times :-D

He acquired a '56 Jaguar XK140 when I was 5. By the time I was 12, the Jag was replaced with a '64 Ferrari. He kept that car for over 20 years. Awesome machine. I logged many miles on her. I got bitten by the RACING bug after I got married when my wife and my buddy's wife sent my buddy and I to the Skip Barber Racing School (Lime Rock) as a birthday present. We've been doing track events with Barber and the Audi Quattro Club ever since. great fun.

holy ****, my dad has a corvair.. its in mint condition.. its and awosme car, mid engine (still the origanal engine) the car is sick!

anyways my first car was my 240, i wanted a 5 speed but for the pice i got the auto.. i was thinking about an old school 300z but my dad went to test drive this car and he was like "ive always wanted one of these cars, so i think u should get it" then i started reading up on forums and tweaking stuff and talking with other ppl that own 240's and so on.. and now i do all the repairs myself.. ;)

I got into cars about the time I was 12, after discovering the GT-R in Grant Turismo... my bro had always had interest, and his took off then too (he was 15 at the time), I basically read the magazines he got and listened to him and played tons of GT, GT2, and GT3 and figured out tuning in the game and junk. Real cars are so much more fun, and while I still play GT3 sometimes, I'm waiting for GT4 and I'm about to start work on my car. B&M short shifter cause the parents don't mind and the throws seem a little long to me. Then intake, and then keeping it clean til next summer when I get money again, exhaust, chip (though I may do this sooner), suspension then. I dunno, lot of ideas. I want to do some AutoX but I don't know of any events down here and that will be a hard sell to the parental unit. Cars have become a passion and Nissan fuels it, I'm addicted.

my first was a '90 teg, we were both a little drunk and things got out of hand, so of course one thing led to another and before I knew it we were both shed of fabric, there I was with a new found glow all over my body and her with a beautiful black luster on her "door panels". What a night...

Sadly though, this romance was not to be. It was a chilly Saturday afternoon in March when my beloved was taken away from me. Perhaps it was her, but I can't help but bear the guilt of her death. I feel it was I that drove her to run into the tree at 80 miles an hour. For one day may this hole in my heart be filled with a Ferrari Enzo or perhaps a really sweet 510...

Wow, everybody is young. My kids are older than most of you.

My first car was a '66 Sunbeam Tiger. Think something the size of a bathtub with a Ford 260 V8 stuffed into it. I put in a HiPo 289 with the Shelby mods (It was called Shelbyized). Never could get the brakes to work well.

Of course, this was in 1970. All of my friends had 396 Chevelles, guess which one the girls liked most.:)

Man Tigers were awsome little cars. My mom had a sunbeam alpine w/a datsun b210 engine. Not quite the same but still a fun car.

Well luckily my dad restores cars , So my first car was a 1967 Ford Mustang , We painted it red with 2 white stripes. The car had a 200cid inline six and auto trans , My father promised me that if i didnt get into any trouble( wrecks, cops) that we would put a V8 into her, well I has good and about a year later there was a 302 V8 out of a 68 mustang in her. Then came the Edelbrock intake and 4 Barrel carb. I had to put her up in 2000. I was going to mechanics school right out of HS and could not afford the gas, So i then got a 97 mirage LS , Luckily it was 5 spd and 2 door and had the bigger motor. I modded the **** out of that with ZEX custom front bumper made from a Eclipse shogun , Custom paint with flames and Intake , header, cat-back, Lowerered with Intrax , ADR GT sport 17 rims. After that one hit a tree , I got a Contour SVT 99, Sold it like 2 weeks later made a **** load of money off it and Bought my 240sx with all good stuff thats now in it, and my mustang is soon to be resurrected....
