Okay, mine was alittle different. Was "dumped" on me by my Grandfather, he painted the 76 Chevrolet Vega Candy Apple Red. Also, he cheaped out on tires - white walls from Montgomery Wards, with a nautical theme, ROPE side walls  and tint that turned purple in 1 summer. But it was a car, freedom at 53 MPH ... downhill.

This was my "goal"

It was the closest thing to a 240 made in America in the 70's.

See sig for pics: 2001 Sentra SE 2.0 w/ Performance Package.

Front upper tie bar, VLSD, sport suspension (spring rates higher than base SE-R), 16's <- parts of the package.

SR20DE power.

Injen CAI, B&M short shifter.

Best handling front driver I've ever seen, 0-60 in just under 8, 30mpg, and can haul a decent amount of stuff/people. Great car to start with, eh?

8 months, 0 accidents, 0 tickets, 2 crossed fingers.

Well, I dont have any digital pics of my first car. Digital cameras cost a fortune in those days.

1978 chevrolet malibu classic. $200 dollars. $500 paint job. $100 worth of repairs. My day gave me his Buick Regal wheels wiht new tires off his truck (blk wheels with the crome 5 stars.)

Wrecked three months after I started driving. Rode around for a few months with a black door on my white car.

Dented, Auto, Chain-Ticking, Low compression-having '89 240 hatch. Set out to buy an Eclipse I think. So glad I couldn't afford a decent one and this beauty was for sale for $1200. The engine has since unassed itself and is about to have Skyrine powa.
