Let me add to this "discussion".

I have owned 3 Maxima's.

1990 GXE

1992 SE 5 speed (lots of fun)

1995 SE automatic (the 1996 I30t was $9,000 more)

Then the 2000 model came out.

...I bougth the I30t (it was a styling decision, and the price was only $1,000 more than the Maxima SE).

I will try to always stay with Infiniti, mostly because of the service. The price is so close, it is rediculous.

The servcies is 5000% better, at Infiniti. (This is NOT an exaggeration)

I used to have to wait in line, at teh Nissan dealer, and then ride in the mini-van, with the rest of the owners, to get to work.

Now I call in, my name is on the board, the appointments are 15 minutes apart, everybody calls me Mr. Williams, and my free loaner car is warmed up for me (FX-35, G35, I35, or, if I ask, any Infiniti on the lot).

- No Comparison.

Ummm, I agree with Sop, I think this beats both the Maxima and the G35 sedan.
