Thread rules: You have to start every reply with "You know what really grinds my gears...."

This hopefully will be a daily place where we can vent a little on wtf really pisses you off. We don't want to be too seroius, so they can be real petty, like pet peeves.

You know what really grinds my gears:When you let a car from another lane cut you off only to go slower than the lane they came from, now you have to get around them. step on de GAS!

Some dipweasel changed lanes RIGHT in front of me yesterday. He was behind a semi, I was approaching to pass them on the left in the passing lane. So the jerk moves into the passing lane and just sits there...the same distance behind the semi as before, but now he's in my way. I flash my brights at him. He moves back over, slows down, and both occupants flip me off. Then he proceeds to pull back into my lane behind me and tailgate me TERRIFYINGLY close. Fortunately he seemed satisfied after only a few seconds of this, so I didn't have to put up with him for long.

I love how people make you the bad guy when you call them on the carpet for being wrong.

Time for a little show and tell!

You know what really grinds my gears?

City of Miami Mayor Manny Diaz

Miami-Dade County Mayor Carlos Alvarez

Miami Wiggers

Miami Traffic

The fact that Miami is one of the top five poorest cities in the U.S. yet most people drive around in BMW's.

Miami condominiums, 90% of these have no one living in them.

Miami nightlife=Douche bag central

Miami has...no jobs!

Why would anyone want to live here?(because "it's pretty" isn't a valid answer)

And that is what grinds my gears, thank for letting me vent, good day, carry on.

Word, I hate Miami.

What really grinds my gears- when people don't bow the eff out of their part of MY projects and we have to keep having the same meeting, over and over because I can't ever progress because one dill hole is stunting evolution with limited involvement! ARGGHHHH. <---- ticked off.

this is when you pull your e-brake and he hits you and buys you new body kit for being a slow/dumb-*** idiot.

yeay for everyone!

"you know what really grinds my gears" is when i'm at work (for Sears Auto Center) and of course i get stuck doing batteries all screwing day... and when i finally get an alternator (while still having to install 4 other batteries)... i see 2 of my coworkers (both able to install batteries) just sitting there, and when i asked for a little bit of help (as i stared my shift at 8am and it was nearing 1pm) so i can go to lunch... they did nothing but continue smoking.

grrrr!

You know what really grinds my gears:People that do the speed limit in the fast lane.gtfo outta the way I got places to be and your holding me up *****.

People who drive lifted trucks that never see the dirt or do it wrong. Some moron I "know" drives a jeep with stock coils in the front with 3 stacked spacers in the front for lift, with 8 inch blocks in the rear.Another moron drives a lifted superduty with 38 inch tires ya it's cool looking but it's way to high to be functional

Morons douche nozzle ricers in their econo boxes that think their fast with an exhaust, and intake.Grow the screw up,you're not Mario Andriette and never will be,so stop driving like an *** in populated areas.

Morons that have truck nutz they are screwing stupid, the only thing you're doing is making you're pen15 look even smaller, you already drive a lifted truck so you feel the need to put "nutz" on your truck to increase your masculinity to "the ladiez dawg" and make yourself look even more like an ***.

I have a covered parking spot at my apartment. The cover is supported by pillars that "span" two spots. I'm in a "left" spot, with pillars on my left. There's a normal yellow line separating the spot to my right, then more pillars.

A new resident recently moved in and got the spot next to mine. The guy drives a 1st gen Kia Sportage (which tells you something about the guy on it's own). For those who've never taken the time to look at one of these (I've driven them) they're microscopic...about the size of the old Chevy Trackers.

This guy has nearly twice his car's width to park in, and he parks ON (not next to, not near, ON) the yellow line between the spaces. Most of the time his front wheels are cocked left, with the tire intruding into my space.

Normally I wouldn't be bothered, but:A) The Q is relatively bigB) The "road"/lane/drive from which one turns to enter our spots is really narrow, limiting approachC) Road width is further compounded by the spot across from mine (opposite side of the road, "facing" mine) being occupied by a crew cab full size pickup.D) For the 1.5+ years I've lived in this apartment, I have made an effort every single time I've parked to get as close to "my pillars" (leaving as much room for the Sportage's spot) as possible. Two large-ish sedans and even a full size 4x4 truck for a while have parked in my spot, always leaving ample room for the neighbor. And yet this inconsiderate d!ck can't even spare the brainpower to move his damned clown car a few INCHES to the right. What a d!ck.

I HATE inconsiderate people. They fuel a passionate rage within me that not even the wrath of God himself could equal.

Hey Minister, you have nice talk with that POS that parks next you yet? Maybe he's just thick-headed and needs to be told.

You can always borrow a friends 40 year old Buick Electra and park all over your spot and his for a while and maybe he'll get it.

BTW: I did enjoy your rant - I feel much the same way... Good luck.
