MinisterofDOOM wrote:I have a covered parking spot at my apartment. The cover is supported by pillars that "span" two spots. I'm in a "left" spot, with pillars on my left. There's a normal yellow line separating the spot to my right, then more pillars.

A new resident recently moved in and got the spot next to mine. The guy drives a 1st gen Kia Sportage (which tells you something about the guy on it's own). For those who've never taken the time to look at one of these (I've driven them) they're microscopic...about the size of the old Chevy Trackers.

This guy has nearly twice his car's width to park in, and he parks ON (not next to, not near, ON) the yellow line between the spaces. Most of the time his front wheels are cocked left, with the tire intruding into my space.

Normally I wouldn't be bothered, but:A) The Q is relatively bigB) The "road"/lane/drive from which one turns to enter our spots is really narrow, limiting approachC) Road width is further compounded by the spot across from mine (opposite side of the road, "facing" mine) being occupied by a crew cab full size pickup.D) For the 1.5+ years I've lived in this apartment, I have made an effort every single time I've parked to get as close to "my pillars" (leaving as much room for the Sportage's spot) as possible. Two large-ish sedans and even a full size 4x4 truck for a while have parked in my spot, always leaving ample room for the neighbor. And yet this inconsiderate d!ck can't even spare the brainpower to move his damned clown car a few INCHES to the right. What a d!ck.

I HATE inconsiderate people. They fuel a passionate rage within me that not even the wrath of God himself could equal.
next time that happens, go get a few friends and just pick it up and move it over haha. im sure its light enough

You know what really grinds my gears, the people that think their distance ahead on the road gives them the right of way. I'm talking about two kinds of people. The people that sit behind a tractor trailer at under the speed limit for the entire time you approach, and when there is no more room for them to move ove safely, they get in front of you and SLOWLY pass the tractor trailer before cutting him off and slowing down. Secondly, THE MOTHER******* DOUCHE BAGS THAT JUMP INTO THE EMPTY LANE AT A STOP LIGHT. LET THE screwING PEOPLE WHO ARE AT SPEED GO THROUGH THE INTERSECTION WITHOUT STOPPING. JUST BECAUSE YOUR STUPID *** IS STUCK AT THE LIGHT DOES NOT MEAN THAT YOU CAN SLOW DOWN THE PEOPLE WHO ARE NOT. Most of these damn idiots end up acceling SLOWER THAN THE PEOPLE THEY PULLED OUT FROM BEHIND.

This morning some broad was grinding my gears coming to a stop light about a block away where cars are stopped. so im coasting to the intersection red and some chick in a trail blazer is on my *** flashing her brights. thats right she wants me to speed up to the red light so we can wait. People are screwING STUPID. so i made that stretch of road worse for her by getting into every opening in traffic that could be made for a lane change and NOT go faster as she apparently seemed to be rushing to work. here is a tip lady WAKE UP AND LEAVE EARLIER. i was driving to work too. had plenty of time to get there.

What really grinds my gears:

I'm the red arrow, some d!ck with his wife in a Lexus is the blue arrow. At the stop sign at the bottom, I was fourth in line, he was third. We start to go to the exit and he floors it through the parking spaces trying to get a head of #1 and #2. Well the green arrow is a car coming into the parking lot, and blocks his method of attack.

As soon as the green car passes, he DIRECTLY CUT ME OFF to get back into the SAME F*CKING POSITION HE WAS IN BEFORE. I had to slam the brakes to avoid rear ending him.

*******. My horn was going off for a good twenty seconds as I followed him out of the lot.

So one of my best friends from back home apparently has the best luck ever and as soon as he is out of a relationship another female comes along that is just about perfect for him.

I cannot for the life of me find someone who I could really hook up with on an intellectual, physical, and emotional level.

also i really don't like people who bring their alcoholic stuff into places that I have specified as clearly no drinking zones. i dont mind people partying around me so much but when its like "HEY have this beer that I am drinking" and im like no, they are like wth not mofo, which prompts me to leave because I don't like confrontations with drunk people

Background: I deliver packages around campus in a big white creeper van. There are 4 preset radio stations.

You know what really grinds my gears? The a$$hat I work with who keeps changing 3 out of the 4 stations to vapid pop crap. I try to reset them to include alt rock, classic rock, top40, and one crappy pop station. Spare the rest of us!

Big giant aftermarket tachometers when the stock one is right behind it.

OMG, I didn't mean to bump this old of a thread. Sorry. I saw a similar thread a few weeks ago that I wanted to post in, and I just grabbed this one off the search without looking at the dates.

But not to dilude my grinded gear, I will reiterate...It grinds a gear when I think a car is really clean looking and upon closer inspection there is a big honking aftermarket tachometer when the stock one is right there behind it. Is that really necessary? Hahaha
