...BUHAHAHA! 7psi on any average turbo KA kit would only yield 210-240hp. If you were an EXCELLENT dragger, and got a good RT with nice tires and/or LSD, then maybe high 12s, but for the vast majority of the time, mid-high 13s is where the avg KAT is at. People get all caught up in how much hp the engine makes, etc and forget that there are a billion other ways to be fast...or slow. =)

ok, you run a KA-T car on steelies with 195/60-15 crap tires at the dragstrip and show me some 12's:rolleyes

just because a car makes power doesn't make it fast.

Yes I was on a dirt road running 7 psi on a t88. I dyno'd at 388 hp, but for some reason my slicks wouldn't hook up. What's your setup?

By the way, I've seen plenty of ka-ts and sr20s run much slower than 13s. I've even seen a sr20 at 14psi run a 15.

OMG! thank you soo much for the heads up...You know, I wasn't sure, but you just helped me out BIG TIME.

SR + 14psi = 15sec? Bad driver. Prolly got a crappy RT to say the least. Ive seen similar things. If you want a more consistant performing car, get AWD. It makes the launch much easier. Hence AWD is for n00bs =P
