OHOHOHOHOH! I have a suggestion!!!!!

Along with the need for a less sensitive panic button on the key chain (i set mine of CONSTANTLY too.) I'd like a slightly less sensitive HORN! Maybe it's just the way I drive, but i feel like if i just slightly touch the sides of the horn - it blows. I spend more time trying to apologize for inappropriate horn blowing than i do anything else!!!

Maybe its a Canada thing but mine has those.

I agree with much of what has already been said. The cupholders are in the wrong place. I'd like the centre armrest a bit higher. The intervals on the wipers are odd. Why is the fist setting about a half second delay? What's the point of that? Standard spoiler on the SL. Lighted steering wheel controls. Side turn markers. I don't think we need a larger power plant. It's a small compact not meant for towing. Who buys a Versa with the intent of towing?

Flex Fuel (E95) I would rather pay American farmers for fuel than fund terrorists, even if it means a decrease in mpg. If Brazil can go 100% E85, why can't this country? Plus think about it E85 = 105 octane. More power with the same engine.

Taller and wider spaced gears. For an econobox they put in sports car spaced gears. Come on 3000 rpm at 65mph? I barely use 3rd or 5th gear. It is sad that 6th gear has plenty of power to pull the Versa at 30 mph. Taller gears would also help the mpg.

A few more 12V power outlets. 1 is not enough for cell phone, gps & XM. It also interfers with the hand brake.

If you use E85, you would actually have less power and lower mpg. Ethanol has far less energy than it's petro counterpart (30-34% less). Studies have shown that ethanol in current engines designs when compared to equal gas engine, there's a 25% reduction in mpg. So yes it becomes a domestic/renewal fuel source, but theoretically, you'll need to use a lot more of it.

Not to get to far off topic, but if an engine is properly designed to use either, there is little to no loss in power. If they super charged the engine, there would be more power when using E85 than pure gas.

The ECU must be able to sence the % of ethonal to adjust the injectors & timing to maximize mpg & power.

We have flex fuel vehicles in our work fleet & they get better mpg with E85. In converting a non-E85 engine to E85 (which is illegal in the USA) then your statement is true.

Nissan already has this technology in vehicles they sell to brazil. bring it here please. Plus there is an added benefit of a tax deduction for new buyers if they did.

Actually, I don't mind the cup holders. After my last car, these are cupholders I can use for something more than holding change or my cellphone.

Absolutely - more power outlets. Also wish I had:

- outdoor temp gauge- automatic locks that engage themselves. I keep forgetting to lock.- seat levers are awkward- back of front seat: some kind of pocket- get rid of the ring you have to lift to go into reverse. Prefer just to lift the whole knob, like the system I had on a previous standard.- heated seats are always nice

But then no manufacturer has ever designed a car that fulfills all my auto needs, and if they did I wouldn't be able to afford it. Gotta make do with what you've got, and now that I FINALLY have this car, I'm pretty happy.

Oh yeah, one more thing I just discovered.

The storage container above the radio only holds 3 cd cases, and the cd player holds 6 cds. Or is this just a blank spot for a future global positioning/map reading thingmajobber?

You just need three of those single sized cases that hold 2 CDs each.

Yabbit then I won't be able to keep my cds organized. I was thinking of a cd wallet from the dollar store, but then I have to keep the original cases somewhere, and transfer the cds back and forth. That's too much work for my obsessive-compulsive nature.

I did discover the under the front seat storage, quite by accident, when a couple of library books on the floor in the back slithered out of sight under the driver's seat. Or is this toe storage for back seat passengers? Once had a mazda that had a lockable storage drawer under the passenger seat. Very useful.
