the actor that drove it was a stain, that fake tough guy raspy voice was gay. Who put all those stupid stickers on the cars? They need their hand smashed with a hammer.

Don't you guys understand that it's all about marketing? They didn't make the movie true to the car scene, they made it to exploite young teens and brainwash them into buying decals and big wings.

true, most of the cars in the movie didn't even have that much under the hood with the exception of the supra, s2000, and R33 (not that it matters, didn't even get to see it race. Biggest ripoff of my life). They have the 240 and RX-7 in super street, not too much more tha intake exhaust, intercooler, and a lot of work on the exterior. At least they looked nice I guess. Just wish they would've left out the 2 or 3 million riced out civics in the street racing scenes. The whole movie was just crap.

i think the 2 or 3 million riced out civis is true to the car scene...millions of riced car and a few fast ones...just like real life

yea a bunch of mid 13 second cars, lol....and all honda's....IMO if it was 'real' street racing there would of been 'real' cars there, ie, supra's rx7's, etc etc

Or they could have gone down to Texas and spoken with the domestic guys. You know, the ones with slow Camaros that run the quarter in the 8's or so...

honduh's may not be real fast, but you do have to admit they helped bring the import scene to where it is today. and it was "real" street racing b/c they were on a street and they were racing (no matter what kind of car was raced). you kind of have to give those kids some credit, that one guy had an ls/vtec conversion on his car with some massive jdm work (including right hand drive) done.

True.Quote » you kind of have to give those kids some credit,
Maybe.Quote » that one guy had an ls/vtec conversion on his car with some massive jdm work (including right hand drive) done.
Yeah.... because we all know how much faster RHD and JDM parts make your car. In my opinion (humble as it may be) all the 'real' racers I know, street or otherwise, have little or no concern about asthetics. Anyone who blows their load on making their car look authentic JDM, or simply a show piece, is an enthusiast not a racer.

But then again this entire discussion is just about pointless.... sorry I contributed.

This kid was a loser....He spent all that money on his car, didn't even do a front end conversion, and ended up losing twice to some 90-93 Integra....that was funny. That kid deserves no respect because he is a loser. He dropped out of a race because he knew he was going to get beat.

The MTV special was OK, nothing special, I was mad that every single car was a Honda, but what can you do. That kid Eugene with the 4-door Integra was the man though...he looked mad sheisty. Plus he had like 7 trannies in his garage and a couple of blocks...thats a real street racer, he deserves much more respect than that other douchebag.

Goddammit, like the first movie didn't do enough damage already. My rice radar's gonna go berzerk when that movie comes out. Craig Lieberman's a **** for what he did to that skyline. Putting NOS in a skyline? Friggin' Jackass.....

for some reason it is hard for people to grasp that it is a movie. and in movies they don't need to make things real. are we going to trip if the actors don't actually race next?

jean claude van-dumbass.......ballot dancerthe guy that played bruce lee in dragon.......gymnistthe actors in the movie x-men......weren't real mutants

sure they say a lot of dumb **** in FF but whatever....i saw it.....i'll probably catch the cheap showing of part 2.....it's entertainment.it sucks that it spawned a whole new breed of rice.....and brought attention from cops toward modified cars and they do some lame stuff to cars but whatever.

I think the S13 looks cool, and that wing isn't bigger than the ones on the japanese drift 180s from the videos that were circulating a few days ago. At least it doesn't have one of those stupid stickers on the side (KOW). And, I hate that guys voice too, it's so weird. "He's tryin' to get in Mia's pants, Dog." ??????

In the Skyline in the first movie, the Nitrous was actually put on by MotoRex. Ever heard of them? yeah they made it a hell of a lot easier to get a skyline here... so i believe they know what they are doing. And on the Skyline in the FF2, the nitrous isn't injected into the fuel or whatever it's sprayed over the intercooler, so basically it's just making the intercooler do it's job a hell of a lot better, so i don't see anything wrong with that.
