Lol im not hating Im stating the facts even though you might have done a drop you think that every engine will come from the a used yard perfect? You think that everythign is perfect in this world and god hands you engines on a silver platter?

You need to go back and take english class because I directly said that "NOBODY" makes aftermarket waterpumps and timing chains. You have to get the nissan OEM parts. Which some arent even magically in the US? Wow isnt that something new, some of the parts for the turbo version of the SR arent available in the US? No way!

I did alot of reading on the SR thank you actually I was on here reading for 3 months about the SR before I even posted something.

Just because your parts were magically working doesnt mean I dont know anything about SR's chump. That statement is so unrelative its sad.

You would have to be a fool as we have discussed in these forums many times not to replace parts and hope they work. Severall accounts of engines being put in and they act wierd or shoot smoke or this or that because they coulda spent the time to replace the part before dropping in the engine. A ounce of prevention man and ounce of pervention.

If you do it right the first time you wont have to do the harder work of working on the engine when its in the engine bay. Obviously you dont realize this if you did you wouldnt be arguing about parts rather agreeing. "hmm this is true if you did replace this or that then you would more than likely not have to do it later on and you would know specifically when to replace it later."You seem to think the only part I was talking about is the waterpump your closeminded on issues such as this I wont force you to think of any other service parts that need replacing after the 60k mark because you probably forgot to do it anyways.

your not gonna come out on top of this conversation i have a plethora of information about either turbo setup and honestly ive done my homework keep it coming the more you do the worse this is gonna get.

Most of us cannont go "All out" all at once so we get the turbo motor as a starting block and then upgrade peices slowly. Sure the NA swap might be cheeper but it's more costly to get boost into it. The DE has less power than the KA right? So why swap to a lesser motor if you have to drive the thing like that for a year NA? Better to get the DET and realize immediate gains with future "maximization" plans.

im not hating...its MY opinion...im not trying to rub it in yer face...not at all...if you like the KA then hey good for you...im not gonna knock yah for it one bit...PERSONALLY i hate the motor with a passion...if you wanna build one up to be a beast then by all means go right ahead and ill give u MAD credit when its done and i see a lot of effort put in to it

to answer yer other question...im not big on FWD nissans...im not big on many FWD cars period...not to say i hate them or im gonna clown on them...but i perfer nissans S13 chassis the most...sure one day ill get my skyline and realize that chassis as well...but i perfer learning how to tune S13 chassis cars as i own one and a lot of people come to me for help with them...so its my perferred chassis

SR came in alot of u.s. cars, and the amount of internet companies that sell OEM and aftermarket parts is damn large.

I'm locking this because I hate "this vs that" threads.
