In all honesty, we had a "back in the saddle" brief today. It's a safety brief that talks about stupid s*** people did over their 96. For example, a teenager was killed in town by a drunk driver, but that's not even my point here. During this brief, a woman came and told her story of her children and how they were killed... The story hurt me to listen to it, because it put me in the state of mind of, what if that was my son. Anyway... She said that her 2 youngest children, went to their grandparents' for a couple weeks during the summer. Her grandparents apparently lived on this dirt road. Well, the little girl lost a tooth one night and put it under her pillow. The tooth fairy, of course put money under her pillow in exchange for the tooth. Well, she wanted to buy candy with it the next morning for herself, her brother, and her older cousin. They walked across the dirt road, bought the candy, then walked back. On the way up the drive way, a car comes flying between 2 trees and into their driveway. About the time the older cousin said "LOOK OUT!" the car slammed into the 2 younger children. The little girl was knocked INTO an embankment. The little boy was ran OVER by the car then drug some way before it finally released him. Both, of course, died on scene. The driver was ejected from the vehicle. When the paramedics confronted him and asked if he knew he just ran over and killed 2 children, he responded with "I don't care. I just want to take a piss and smoke a cigarette to calm my nerves." The guy was obviously drunk. Sadly enough, big_rig, the first thing I thought when she repeated his statement was of you and your ridiculous post about "maybe it'll be you and yours."

Okay guys...all of you need to calm it down here. It bothers me that a little disagreement can turn into anger which feeds into hatred. We are all "NICO" brothers and sisters here. We share a common interest; our cars and the love for them. Yes we'll have our disagreements like all families do but that's what makes us all individuals. Each and everyone of us brings something different to the table. There's a lot of diversity here on Nico which is why NICO is the best Nissan/Infiniti forums in the world. So lets move on and get pass this.

Thank you. You have to keep in mind, a LOT of us on here have families, and while most of us enjoy fast driving and have probably done stupid s*** behind the wheel at some point, we've grown past it.
