I've been watching this thread and laugh when you, big_rig deleted your post. I am not taking anyone's side here but know that when you do stupid things on public roads that endanger the lives of innocent families, you'll find, as you have already have, we don't tolerate that kind of behavior here nor does NICO condones such stupidity. Ask Phenom how he was flamed by me and other fellow members here when he posted of his actions that resulted of an angered man that came out of his vehicle and proceeded to dent his roof when Phenom cut him off when he was speeding down a public road...and he's a friend! Yes, the man had his family in the car and frankly, I would have done far worst damage to him and his car if it were me. Mess with me or my family and you'll be sorry. The only thing people are saying here is that if you want to do stupid things like speeding, do it in a controlled environment like a race track where as 93Coupe stated, crashes are expected. Don't do it on the streets where you might possibly take the lives of innocent families.

Hey guys I got a ticket for going 7MPH you have to say... SO on rt66 today this mustange GT rolled up next to me and we took off, he had me by a half a cars length..... And as speed up 90MPH a car moved into my lane forcing me to pass on the shoulder..... As I kicked it into 5 gear and smoked the mustange only to be lasers by the State trooper as I was slowing down......

Now which story would you like to tell?????

And dont worry Dangeris I wouldbe anywhere near your family, Im not just a good driver I have to plan on what you are going to drive accordingly.....

Unfortunately he sounds like most car salesmen I've dealt with... Hell, even a lot of private sellers.. I still remember when I was looking for my first car, I almost bought a pontiac fiero. LMAO...My brother bought the 85 Fiero GT, the first year it came out witht he sloped nose and V6. That car, at that time was pretty cool and I found that the little hump over the engine bay was a good place to put a pizza box when you pick it up since there was practically no room in the cabin. None the less it was a cool car

the thing you guys have to keep in mind is that this is California. speed limit says 65 MPH and everyone is doing at least 70 MPH. cops wont even pull you over for going 70 and most cops wont even pull you over for 75. its not a for sure ticket until you're doing 80+ MPH. i've taken road trips before on i5 in California and on i5 it says 70 MPH speed limit and everyone is doing 80+. i was with my mom and she was doing about 90 mph and a guy in a convertible BMW crusies by at about 120 MPH... he wasnt racing, just cruising at that speed. everyone in Cali speeds...

besides, i bet a altima coupe going 85 MPH can stop just as fast if not faster then a big rig semi going 65. speed limits are stupid because not all cars are the same and to classify a speed and say anything over is unsafe, is idiotic. thats like saying going 70 MPH in a 65 MPH zone with a lambo is unsafe but going 65 MPH in a big a** SUV ok. obviously the lambo will stop quicker and out maneuver the big a** SUV.

about the drinking, i dont drink at all (driving or not) and i dont agree with DUI ppl. HOWEVER, it is NOT illegal to drink and drive. it is illegal to drink too much and drive (i think its .08% or something.. i dont drink so i dont know how much exactly). so if the cop didnt say anything about the drinking, he must have been able to drive safely and did not drink too much.

and to the mods, pls lock this thread so we can be done with all this drama.

yeah, if i go 80 on the freeway, i get my doors blown off by geo metros and toyota trecells around here...
